Any phenotype you cared to survey will show a correlation of some sort with IQ. They won't all be statistically significant correlations but you can bet your ass they won't be equal. We don't know what else could correlate with criminal behavior. We examined the race correlation not because there is any reason to think there is a special racial difference in crime rates but simply because race is such a glaring, visible phenotype.
As I said earlier, if you wanted to bet on who has a criminal record, you'd do better looking at a person's handedness than their skin color.
My point in saying all this is that ethno centrists who claim to be so in the name of maximizing IQ or minimizing criminality would be hypocrites to stop their quest after they achieve racial purity.
