Largely because students on the Right are there to get their degree, and are doing subjects which require a decent bit of work. On the other hand the students on the Left tend to do bullshit subjects, leaving them lots of time to pretend to be busy (i.e. protest, campaign, complain). Means that the only right wing candidates which get any attention are parody candidates, with policies like crowdfunded gulags or dissolving the business school.
