A loss leader is an item that is sold for the same amount or less than it costs to make, therefore making no or negative profits. The purpose of a loss leader is to attract customers to the store, where they will buy other items, making up for the loss of profit. So Costco assumes that if someone comes in to buy the bird, they'll do the rest of their grocery shopping at Costco as wel.l A rotisserie chicken is a good item to do this with, as it's a pre-cooked item (convenience factor, much like a pizza), capable of feeding multiple people, and something that has an excuse to be displayed front and center. (needing it's own special heated shelving units.) By the way, chicken is one of the more lean meats out there, so your fat comments only show that your dumb ass knows shit about nutrition.

Ignatieff was working at Harvard at the time and Harper's campaign ran some attack ads on him basically claiming that he's not really Canadian because he doesn't live and work here and that if he can't be prime minister he will just fuck off back to America after the election and not invest any of his time and money in Canada - which is exactly what happened. He ran straight back to USA after he lost the election and I haven't heard from him until now - doing some shady Soros shit in another country.
