Remember the mid 90s? Bill Clinton was cool, pussy, faggots, bitches, PlayStation, smoking weed, skating, renting videos, taking the bus, over-sized clothes, Wu Tang... all that shit.
Was it all just bullshit? Were we just asleep to the globalist takeover?
The 90's were very comfy and fun to the point where people had an unreasonable amount of optimism and basically just said "fuck it" to everything would lead to the decline of the west.
Charles Allen
You were young in the 90s. The same shit was going on, albeit not quite as insane as it is now.
Kevin Hall
skating was the best. still have dreams about it.
Kayden Rogers
or as widely broadcasted to the entire world via the internet
Benjamin Murphy
People were even more disconnected from the truth. Recent young people didn't start following politics (even if being misled) until fairly recently
Jackson Clark
It was largely bullshit, but then again so was the supposed goodness of Reagan and others. It was the spread of the internet that also allowed inconvenient information on American politics to spread.
Josiah Gonzalez
Yeah I remember that Bill Clinton wasn't cool at all.
Leo Peterson
>Bill Clinton was cool, pussy, faggots, bitches, PlayStation, smoking weed, skating, renting videos, taking the bus, over-sized clothes, Wu Tang... all that shit and everyone took themselves waaay too seriously
Jayden Sanchez
I won't be seeing this movie because I actually lived it.
Nolan Jenkins
Your nostalgia for the 90s is most accurately summarised here: >life had more mystery, since an answer to everything right away wasn't possible without today's internet, so you were more hopeful >I lived in my own personal echochamber, since the only dissenting opinions I faced were from people in real life, and on late night television >I was young and therefore had no real responsibilities >I was naive and thought the world was far more simple, honest, and peaceful than it really is
All the internet did was put you in touch with the rest of the world, and all those harsh realities you didn't hear about in the 90s came flooding in.
Henry Powell
I am so sick of jews cashing in on nostalgia.
Aiden Carter
Cool thread jonah. Your movie looks dope. Cant wait to see it 3 x
Luke Powell
National Socialist Skater here, who wants to see my board?
The 90's sucked. The 80's were superior in every way.
Jonathan Roberts
Things were good. We were NPCs living in an endless suburban simulation.
Jackson Bennett
Well said. Have the degrees of insanity have increased though? Transgender children ffs.
Nicholas Davis
The 80's sucked. the 70's were superior in every way.
Xavier Butler
>Overhype by nastalgia fags for a shitty decade that was shitty with shittier people
Wtf is this movie anyways?
Cameron Myers
first leaf best leaf
Hudson Cruz
Yea and without the introduction of the internet we'd likely be far worse off.
Angel Parker
The same edgy, revolutionary activists standing for free expression in that time are in their peak power right now and are preaching mainstream paradigm propaganda and constricting free thought. They are making sure to make heretics to social justice suffer. I have so much disdain for this faction of gen X.
Jackson Hughes
Based Artie
Eli Moore
the faggot jews who write all of the movies and tv shows and music actually gave a fuck because they realized that if they didnt work hard to make it good, they would be outplayed by independent artists and studios now they dont give a fuck because every NPC is absolutely terrified of admitting that good shit just doesnt come out of the mainstream anymore.
Hudson Williams
The 90's were essentially a continuation of the 80's until the Internet rolled around.
Samuel Garcia
I was born in 1975, so the nineties were basically my teens and early twenties. One way I will say they were undoubtedly better than today was economically. By that, I mean that the average person was able to afford decent housing, car, etc. on a normal salary. For example, I graduated from college straight into a relatively low-level job that still allowed me to have my own apartment in a decent area and make payments on a new car. I wasn't constantly broke, either; still had discretionary money to go out with friends and take the occasional trip/vacation.
Carson Diaz
>Were we just asleep to the globalist takeover?
Yes we were, but who can blame us, we didn't know what we know now.
We were busy dreaming of a new millennium, the future (the 2000s) were just around the corner. Massive technological achievements were being made...
Then 9/11, 2001 came, and it completely shifted our focus. Our optimism of human nature, was replaced with cynicism of human nature.
Why try to make the world a better place for people who don't deserve it? Only help your tribe, only your people. History rewards those who stick together.
That's what we learned from this massive Self-Check of the past two decades.
There was no Utopia coming. No messiah to take us to Heaven. Life is unfair. Good people die. You have to be a survivor. You have to be strong first before anything else.
Maybe once we've fully swallowed this truth, we can get the 90s back, and resume our journey into the future. Once we are done with this era of introspection.
Luke Fisher
It was still happening, but we had no way of knowing. No media except for TV and cable. No alternate viewpoints. The frog was still being boiled. Only because of the internet have we become aware of the lie on a large scale.
Yes. Most were sleeping. It was 9/11 and the net that woke the sleepers. Those few of us who were awake were lumped in with the tin foil ayylmao crowd. Suck vindication, to see millions and millions of you finally here, and awake
Gavin Perez
>Were we just asleep to the globalist takeover? No. I was a kid and just discovered masturbation.
Anthony Price
>Bill Clinton was cool if only you knew how bad things really were
Parker Jackson
Not half as much disdain as the right-wingers in Gen X do... >source: right-wing Gen Xer
Owen Garcia
You feel weightless in free fall. Almost like flying
Josiah Cruz
Fuck, that's sad but true
Dominic Garcia
I miss the 90's. Best decade ever. Fuck the 2000's and Obama.
Who remembers Limp Bizkit? I did all for that nookie! The What?
no one wants to see a 2x6 drilled to roller skates. i bet you push mongo faggot.
Nolan Robinson
I dont know, im 19, but i do know that the kids being raised now are absolute fags, black and white This isnt even a boomer post, t really is just sad, Millenials have cucked the world
He was only cool because we were told he was cool. And there were only like four TV channels to tell us the "news". Peak Operation Mockingbird days
Zachary Phillips
Damn I miss the mid-late 90s. Fashion, music, tv was cool. The internet had just started. You still had a long time before people's retarded opinions had to be accepted. And yeah back then Clinton and Blair were seen as the coolest leaders ever.
Jason Nelson
>Then 9/11, 2001 came, and it completely shifted our focus. I would argue that the early Internet up till when Facebook/Twitter came around was a period of its own. Back then SJW's didn't exist and the Internet was basically a wild west.
i thought slick willy was lame in the 90s though and i was a kid anyone remember that shitty cartoon about bill clintons cat?
Cameron Scott
>Why try to make the world a better place for people who don't deserve it? Only help your tribe, only your people. History rewards those who stick together
yeah that didnt come til 15 years later and half the country is still awol
William Roberts
i HATE THESE 90'S //THREADS//
Look let's all just be honest "We can't go back" I'm sorry the only way out of this mess is to go threw it. This has to happen. So get fucking ready cause this is going to be a street fight rumble flat out. and the stakes are too fucking high to punk out.
What's it like not even remembering 9/11 and early Neocon wars of the 2000s, that's crazy.
Alexander Allen
Let’s see it
Jeremiah Peterson
Me
Justin Martin
>Maybe once we've fully swallowed this truth, we can get the 90s back Except this not even possible now given the current economic and demographic realities.
Hudson Peterson
>bombing countries to distract the people from sexual scandals
Noah Jenkins
I never noticed Cody wore New Balances. They really are /ourshoe/.
Nothing much really, I only heard about it in class on 9/11, people don't really care or have any opinion on it, so everyone sees all the wars in the middle east completely pointless
Daniel Davis
Yes. They played us like fools. Abortion was a good thing. Anita Hill was a victim. Bill Clinton was a saxophone Big Mac eating dude. And humans weren't illegal sh*t. Conservatives like newt and rush were bad people. They played us like a banjo. Well any bush was bad and deep state.
Henry Hernandez
Mid 90s were decent, but this shitty Jonah Hill movie you took pic from should be burned. Fuck that fat greasy kike.
Xavier Ramirez
breaking free of the 9/11 jew, nice
Jack Harris
havent seen the movie yet, is it good?
Isaac Morgan
The underlying theme of my post here is that kikes co-opt culture and exploit it for profit...enter Jonah Hill and a coming of age 90s skateboarding movie.
Jack Miller
im set now because im in medical school (aka: more promises and grind), but 2010 when i graduated was rough. literally 24% youth unemployment and on top of that no one was hiring white males because the boomers didnt want competition and liked the virtue signal points.
Jason Flores
“Grunge”
Hudson Watson
Then its a brave new world until then
Bentley Scott
I'm not sure which is worse: that, or having your economic viability torpedoed in your forties.
I saw it today...not bad but wasn't worth the $12. It is partly a Kids ripoff..no Aids component though. It's a mash-up of coming of age experiences of one young man. Jonah Hill tries to make the viewer feel the experiences through the screen but he's no Terrence Malick. But if you were young in the 90s, it's easy to relate to.
The 90s were shit. I don't care about your video game or saturday morning cartoon nostalgia, it doesn't change the negative aspects of that decade. The Weimar-esque degeneracy that we see today is a direct result of the mainstream "political correctness" that sprung up during the Clinton administration. And we can thank blowjob Bill for helping move the overton window even further to the left on homosexuality, which in turn has helped give legitimacy to tranny freaks and their perverse agenda. And there was absolutely NO respectable resistance to any of that shit. You were either stuck with cartoonish Aryan groups (usually infiltrated to the max with federal agents) or wishy-washy assholes who would only speak out against anti-white sentiment because "we're all God's children."
Jordan Gonzalez
Cold War was over! We won! Rents were still cheap. We had a budget surplus. Something weird was going on with the kids though. They started mutilating themselves with tats and piercings. What was up with that?
Ryan Mitchell
That's nothing man. Imagine having a dual income in your 30s and still needing roommates.
im in my 30s and experiencing similar shit. but instead of roomates and a job i got a studio im paying $600 a month for on student loans for $40k a year tuition
physician degrees are in high demand and ultra low supply so they can get away with this. every NPC apparently wants to be a doctor and my school has a 3% acceptance rate, lower than harvard undergrad. i just want to learn about the human body and fixing people and most of my classmates are just doing it because their parents tell them to. what a world we live in
Xavier Nelson
Wanked for the first time in the 90’s
Jack Kelly
Ultra comfy decade, I was in middle school, high school and college during that decade.
Finished college after 9/11, which I think is the true demarcation between rise and fall of our society.
We knew we had it so good in the 90s that we even had pop songs about the world ending when 2000 came, like Robbie Williams - Millenium and several others.
The biggest thing we had to worry about was fucking Y2K.
Austin Gomez
The 90s was the the greatest decade in American history. >Race relations were actually decent >everyone was optimistic about everything and then 9/11 happened
Matthew Nguyen
That was a great album.
Zachary Ward
> we were asleep to the globalist takeover They rocked us to sleep with a lullaby named Clinton. The crazy fuckers in Seattle were too far ahead of it to make sense to anyone else. t.'96
Adam Powell
Funny you posted this, I was just watching a YouTube playthrough of the arcade game last night and the representation of so many enemies would be considered politically incorrect or problematic by screechy adult babies now.
Also Slash, the character with the headband, is based on Slash the Rocker.
In fact numerous anime and games from the 80s and 90s are based on/inspired by/have charactures of American actors, singers and pop culture.
Alexander Ross
This post reeks of baby boomer.
Robert Bennett
>watching air farce on Dec. 31 1999 >not realizing the chicken cannon was really aimed at our future
Yep, except for around the OJ Simpson trial, but Michael Jackson was singing how he wasn't a color, it didn't matter if you were black or white, we were all equals, etc
Only took Obama two terms to tear all of that down and screw it up.
Lincoln James
yes
Jacob Reyes
the screeching lefty phenomenon was due to social media, but in particular smartphones. worldwide connection was simply too much for the NPC to handle; they couldn't introspect and apply a filter.
