Now that Canada has legalised cannabis for recreational use, it only makes sense that Australia follows the same path right?
>Cannabis is the most widely used drug in the country
>Medical cannabis is already legal but a pain in the ass to get so there is low patient participation rate
>Can bring in up to 5.5 billion dollars annually
>The latest government research on community attitudes to cannabis found many people are more progressive in their views than the current laws reflect.
when will we grow up and legalise recreational cannabis? considering how much of a pathetic nanny state this country is, it will probably take another 15 years..
If you enjoy pot keep it illegal. The government fucked weed right up here.
David Ross
How is that possible? do you mean your government fucked up the idea of pot?
legalising cannabis here wouldnt change anything for those who don't have any access to it.
Carson Gray
holy fuck boys the only weed store in my province opened in the parking lot of my liquor store its a fucking zoo help me holy shit theres no fucking parking how can i get my booze
cant believe you cunts managed to get your pot business sorted before anyone else..
are there enough white women left to support the muzzie gang bang industry? fuck off
Justin Hill
Never going to happen. Canada legalised medical cannabis back in 2001. Australia didn't until just 2 years ago, and you can only use it if no prescription drug has worked for you. You also need referrals from 2 separate doctors.
As in the only reason they legalized it was to virtue-signal and find a new source of revenue/tax for money to squander. They also overcharge pretty drastically compared to some places local prices, have their own proprietary containers you NEED to use or else you get a ridiculous fine (gib me $$$), and it's mostly there as a "cheap" anti-depressant because Canada is increasingly becoming a shithole from an irresponsible government that cares more about importing millions of people than it does for it's own country and citizens.
Legalizing it solves virtually nothing for people who already use it and pretty much just encourages people to use it if they don't via peer-pressure in the more "impressionable" years.
Ayden Russell
Yeah our governments arent finished selling off all our publicly owned assets yet, when thats dont they'll be desperate and legalise it, but thats some way down the road, we're about 5 or 10 years behind
Julian Gray
Bruh my quality went way up when we got rec. Like way the fuck up. None of that stupid leaf shit happened here, but it was a fucking beacon to niggers and shitskins to move in. I grew up here, 3 nogs in my entire grade at school. I drive past more on my way to work every fucking day now.
Logan Robinson
Drug laws were barely observed and seldom enforced before legalization. Everyone either smokes/grows or know someone who does. If they really meant to legalize it, they'd put it under the same regulations as lettuce (i.e. none) But no liberal western government will ever do that, they have to tax every goddamn little thing they can. It's in their blood.
Hudson Sanchez
>legal to murder a baby before 22 weeks without question, and after 22 weeks when you go through 22 doctors to find 2 approve of it (at taxpayer's expense) >illegal to smoke a dumb plant
>If they really meant to legalize it, they'd put it under the same regulations as lettuce (i.e. none)
Don't be stupid, lettuce is not the same as weed man.
Caleb Nelson
It needs to be kept illegal The last thing I want is to be surrounded by wasted wankers wherever I go.
Evan Barnes
Quebec ran out of weed.
Sebastian Turner
err we also have an irresponsible government that cares more about taking in hundreds of thousands of legal Chinese/indian immigrants and selling our land and industries to em. Legalisation better be soon...
its practically the same here. i can walk up to anyone at a bar, club or even on the streets and ask if they have any. no one cares about pot here so i might as well have it legalised and taxed
you must live inner city....
William Nelson
So what. My point stands, the government can't do anything meaningful without taxing it like the money hungry grubbing kikes they are. Have you actually looked at all the new rules in place? It's barely any different than before except you can order it online now. Big whoop. It's not even legal to personally transport more than 30 grams.
William Nelson
>>Can bring in up to 5.5 billion dollars annually Oh boy, more revenue for a government which is spending more and more each year, great news.
Chase Hernandez
You realize Straya and Canada combined is the same population as California? There wont be Billions, and Canada wont be importing schwag weed to the US anymore.
David Reyes
Now I can smoke a doob and the cops can't do shit. That's sweet.
Benjamin Reyes
On one hand the tax receipts would be insane, but on the other I know the government would waste it on stupid shit
Christian Morris
What the fuck do you need more than 30 grams of weed for?
Nathan Bennett
The fuck would anyone need more than 30 grams for? We can grow up to 4 plants in our homes, they can't tax that. The ONLY thing that sucks about legalization is the thrill of doing something illegal is gone.
Angel Gray
Alaskans have been able to grow 25 plants since 1975. Sounds aboot right. canada is 42 years behind Alaska.
Jeremiah Gutierrez
Its because it was only your state and not the whole country. Also alberta I heard did a a pretty damn good job at legalization, and alberta has no sales tax.
Ian Reyes
>Alaskans have been able to grow 25 plants since 1975.
Sounds like a cruel joke.
>*tee hee* sure Alaska, land of snow and 6 months of no sun, you can grow 25 ganja plants *tee hee*
I think you been smoking too much pot dude. It grows inside.
Bentley Garcia
um no plants grow outside you dumb boomer thats how they get sunlight. Windows block UV
Brody Scott
get a uv lamp
Julian Wright
Those dont make vitamin d like sunlight though faggot
Daniel Lewis
I'll give you some fuckin' vitamin d
Daniel Gomez
regulated fertilizers
Jeremiah Lopez
Only neocon faggots are for prohibition
Boomers will vote for legalisation when they get told they can get rich off weed stocks by putting their super into it
Now that 40% of their net worth is going to be lost when housing investments collapses and their SMSF hit the floor they'll cling to any hope of growth
They'll also invest in whatever crypto is going around at that time
Ethan Williams
>Alberta >No sales tax It has a base tax of 5% because they only have a mandatory government tax and not a provincial tax because of the next point. They also have basically the highest cost of living in the country because all of the "well paying" industrial jobs are out there. A common thing for people do to is try and get jobs in Alberta (from out of province), buddy up with a couple people to divide housing costs, save up as much as they can, and eventually move back home after a while with a solid bank account.
Hudson Ramirez
Have fun getting that in Alaska. I can only imagine the premiums to buy it in-state or shipping it in just to smoke some weed... let alone the power requirements probably aren't easy to meet.
Jaxon Thomas
pee in my cupped hands ya big ninny
Easton Perry
>you don’t need guns
Carter Sanders
Do it ScoMo
Brandon Flores
should grow for export and make use of the free trade deal we've got with the seppos
