It's simple, but good advice. Here's what I did, and this practically works.
I'm 5'11", weighed about 195 pounds. I found a bodyweight workout online and did that for 6 weeks. Then I calculated my calorie intake needs, it was around 3000 per day, so I cut back to ~2000/day. After the bodyweight workout, I just bought some dumbbells and did a full body workout (not that much weight, only 15 pound dumbbells). I lost ~12 pounds in 2 months and felt great. My diet was basically:
breakfast: yogurt and oatmeal,
Lunch: Something quick at work that did have some carbs in it, like chicken rice or spaghetti
Dinner: steak, chicken or fish with brocolli, salad, or other steamed vegetables.
On days I lifted (2 or 3 times week) I took whey powder with milk)

One thing I was conscious of was reducing the amount of processed corn, onions and wheat and lowering carb intake (not keto, but lower than normal carb intake.) then drink a bunch of water to prevent hunger pains. Plus, no alcohol on weekdays, but I was allowed a burger and beer on weekends.

Instead of pron, I played more vidya or read books (on actual paper, not my phone).

Muscles got bigger and I woke up with crazy erections. I didn't feel agressive with more T, just more confident.

I know this works because I backslid and started drinking beer and watching TV again and I feel like crap. Back to it next week with an MMA clas thrown in.
