I'm a Scottish Celtic supporter and have at least 5 different Irish descended great grandparents, & an Irish surname.

In 2018 I'm probably more Irish than you, or 90% of Ireland.

Love to, in my 30s now and I haven't been to Ireland since I was a toddler. My family seem to originate in Meath but Kildare also seems interesting for some reason. Any recommendations on parts of Ireland to travel to that aren't Dublin or the usual shite people say? Love to come over and drink a load of guinness

The Aran Islands is great, I went there last year. Best seafood I've ever had. Also got head on top of a 2,000+ year old fort called DĂșn Aonghasa. My ancestor's were smiling on me that day. Comfy little island with cosy pubs, head there.

Also, Wexford town is lovely, got the best steak of my life there. The village of Kill in Co. Kildare is cosy too.
