Our system is flawed but no man should be reliant on the state for shit they literally need to live. Sounds like this retard made a lot of poor decisions. He should've been planning for the event he lost his job, or realize it was an unstable position to begin with in an area that he was priced far out of his means. And why is he so alienated from his family so much they can't lend him support, instead of begging the fucking government?
I would rather live in a free country (that not-coincidentally has the best health care services and develops all of the bleeding edge drugs and procedures) than in a fucking nanny state where I get what I need based on the whims of politicians.
