Nurses have enough training to have a basic understanding of the body and its functions, along with the hands on experience to back it up. Doctors go to a brainwashing program for 12 years so they can push unnecessary medications, and unsafe medical practices. Thats what school told them after all, how could school be wrong? Combine this with an overinflated ego, and the fact that they almost never spend any significant amount of time with any patient. This creates a dynamic where they frequently commit medical errors that could result in the death of a patient if it hadnt been caught be a nurse. Medical errors make up an absurd amount of fatalities, but I guarantee you that it would be the number one cause of death world wide if it wasnt for nurses catching doctors on their mistakes.

A nurse is a woman who went to med school to meet a doctor to marry so she could stay home, have babies and be married to a rich man, but spending years in school made them old, and the schooling was expensive so they wound up in debt.

The rich doctors they went to med school to hook weren't interested in a woman in her 30's with thousands of dollars of school debt, so they didn't get to marry that rich doctor they were hunting for.
