Everything that comes foreign in origin from our own language and culture sounds derogatory by default. Gotta love our language.

Mieszko I (ca. 930 – 25 May 992),[3] was a Duke of the Polans; King of Wends ON Vindakonungr[4] from about 960 until his death. A member of the Piast dynasty, he was son of Siemomysł; grandchild of Lestek; father of Bolesław I the Brave, the first crowned King of Poland; likely father of Świętosława (Sigrid), a Nordic Queen; and grandfather of her son, Cnut the Great

The picture is from a festival in Northern Poland centered around Vikings and Slavs. It was one of the few altercations that happened between those warriors and one of the largest battles was in Wolin where the Slavs pushed some Viking settlers out from the land.
I used to go the festival every year with my family. You have traditional foods, music bands, demonstrations of 'how things were' and everything else you might imagine in a festival like that.
They are similar to the ones they do in Bongland too but the ones in the UK are small and very non-serious, especially the battles where in Wolin there is at least 50 injuries every time
Wait, so are we basically 100% if youre from central Poland?
