Jair Bolsonaro is the front-runner in Brazil's presidential election. He is a conservative Christian, pro-gun, a former army captain, and the only candidate with no corruption charges against him. He's looking to modernise the lethargic Brazilian economy with the aid of UChicago economist Paulo Guedes. He wants to align Brazil's foreign policy with Western nationalist governments against the influence of China, Eurasianism and regional socialism (Venezuela and Cuba). He has a hard stance on crime and supports increasing the power of police forces and the army to tackle Brazil's drug and violence problems. Under heavy fire from the media and academia, with an extremely restricted campaign budget, and having survived an assassination attempt, Bolsonaro's presidential run is nothing short of extraordinary.
JB's antagonist in the presidential race is Fernando Haddad, a sociologist, former minister of education under Lula and former mayor of São Paulo. He's running for the left-wing Labour Party (PT) under the guidance of former president Lula, who is currently in prison after being convicted for corruption and money laundering. PT had been the ruling party in Brazil for 13 years, but is facing high rejection in the polls after a police investigation uncovered the largest known corruption scheme in Brazilian history, which PT architected.
TWITTER IS PURE WANK MATERIAL OH GOD I'M GONNA NUT UH UHHHH THIS IS EQUAL OR BETTER THAN AMERICAN ELECTIONS, I FEEL BAD FOR NON-PORTUGUESE SPEAKERS RIGHT NOW

Seriously bro, not cool. You have to translate for us. You're part of the Neo-Facist Union now, act like it. We're brothers. Americans and Brazilians will take over the world together!
>anti gay >wants to take away all funds for black and indigenous institutions >says he would rather his son die than him being gay >says his children would never marry a black as they're educated >said that the Brazilian military regime was great >praised Pinochet >praised a military captain that tortured commie politicians back in the day, that ended up ruling Brazil the last decade and a half >said a policeman that doesn't kill isn't a real policeman
Unlikely, he had a lead in hypothetical polls and the jailing was a powerful political weapon against Haddad (Lula's puppet)

Hey guys, I'm really happy for y'all but I'm gonna ask that you buy American! We've been pulling for you for some time, so if it's not an Imbel or a Taurus please consider buying American, PTR in 7.62 REAL FUCKIN NATO. Buy Colt, buy Ruger, buy Lewis Machine and Tool, buy Mossberg shotguns!
Reminder to you all that are bad people because, between other things, you want everybody to pay for whatever they need by privatising everything. How's that different from taxes?

The other option was a Soro funded communist from a party who created with Fidel Castro the Foro de São Paulo who has as a member FARC... so yea, the kike was the best option we had. At least Israel didn't let them change the result.

>I didn't know i would cry with the results. I'm crying so much
>I'm crying for the nation here. I'm only know that i'm so sad in knowing that i live in a country so stupid to the point this is possible
>Only writing the people who vote on the coiso, crying for a year
COOL? COOL? He's a bad person! Anybody who wants to remove the rights of the LGBT community is a bad person! And someday, those LGBT people and other marginalised people who voted for Bolsonaro will regret that, specially when they get killed by their government. The same applies to those who want to take away the funds for marginalised people, and praised someone who actually wanted to kill communists. But hey, you defend the "liberty of expression", unless the left uses it to talk.

What are Bolsonaro's main policies, and what are they gonna mean for the average Brazilian?
elections in the west are always between a jew puppet and another jew puppet lad, the difference is what they do when they aren't kowtowing to the chosen tribe

>Right wingers in South America Jair Bolsonaro (Brazil) Iván Duque Márquez (Colombia) Mario Abdo Benítez (Paraguay) >Center Right in South America Mauricio Macri (Argentina) Sebastian Piñera (Chile) Martin Vizcarra (Peru) >Socialists in South America Tabaré Vázquez (Uruguay) Lenin Moreno (Ecuador) [The right wingers in Ecuador would give up Assange though] Evo Morales (Bolivia) >Commies in South America Nicolas Maduro (Venezuela)
There are now more right wing leaders than left wing leaders in South America for the first time since what? The colonial era?
