Not necessarily, but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t learn gun and violence basics from violent video games. I do believe it can act as a simulator and training if you can’t separate it from reality.

It hasn't been a real problem since for most of the media's history video games have been designed by white american men, by and large for white american men. They ranged from sci-fi too realistic war environments, and what was depicted / incentive within them was overwhelming not detrimental too society (with the exceptions). However now with the rise of left-leaning men and woman in game development I worry about the possibility of video games influencing society in a negative way. We all know how (they) like too push their narratives and perspective. So while it may or may not be true violence in (media) and video games influences others to become more violent, until recently I would argue it hasn't had a largely negative effect on society. I worry more about the (mental) harm done through narrative driving, from the leftists and their beta orbiters in the games industry today.
