Ruptly youtube.com/watch?v=-QFbS0Z256E Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed the results of a meeting with US National Security Advisor John Bolton during an interview in Moscow on Sunday.
He was sure that the US would leave the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces [INF] Treaty in the upcoming future because Washington had already made the decision.
"Bolton sincerely said that US withdrawal from the INF Treaty aimed on compensation of Asian counties availability of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles" - Lavrov noted.
Lavrov also asked Bolton to accelerate the bridge-building process "for restoring a strategic dialogue between the deputy heads of foreign agencies" about the nuclear strategic situation.
The Russian top diplomat expressed the Russian side's awareness of US connivance and fostering misuses during the Macedonian referendum over membership in NATO and the EU.
According to Lavrov, Bolton grinned and said that Macedonia was "a very complicated country."

Wasn't he hanged in some police station, while talking about being a babylonian lion and an immoral emperor? Anyways, I meant his capture, not his execution, which was pretty official and by the books.
But you do have a choice, you just chose to live in a functional country instead of a war thorn shithole. Its the correct choice. Keep making this choice every morning.
actually would. cultural differences between the two are minimal so it would never be yugoslavia tier

Its still a "nice" city now, I live there. Nice in the modern city way, with its many malls, business centers, parks, squares. It is a bit oppressive though, I go to my village home on weekends when I can. Bulgaria is a functional state, our corruption and organized crime only result in a loss of money, and nothing else. Its sad that people are thorn between USA and Russia propaganda, so there is some schizophrenia going on in society, and possibly an autoimmune response eventually, but most things are in order and I don't see myself leaving. I've been on vacation in almost all European countries, and its all the same as Sofia, except the music is better and the food is worse. However if there is a crisis and guns start shooting here, I'll join you in Melbourne.

You mean despite Iranian pressure? Iran wants islamic radicals like the dawa party or supreme islamic council to rule over Iraq, the won't let Ba'athists return to Iraq and certainly won't let an Arab superstate rise on their doorstep.

Now now Hristo, where's the fun in that? Wouldn't you enjoy round 3 of the Balkan Wars boogaloo?
Who cares. Brazil only exists to provide natural resources for the rest of the world. It will never be strong enough to anything more than conduct military operations 100 miles away from its own borders.

Assad is not a puppet. Iran has no influence in Syria, the fact that they send cannon fodder to die for Assad does not make him their puppet.

There is a story in my family of how my grandfather met the communist partisans. He was guarding a flock of sheep, when the partisans came to recruit him. He said no, so they beat him up and took a sheep. Then the loyalists came, asked what happened, and they beat him up for allowing a sheep to be stolen. Then they gave him a rifle. So the partisans came again, they beat him up, took his rifle and a sheep. Then the loyalists came, they beat him up, and he was in jail for a week for collaborating with communists.
The conclusion being: stay out of this shit. This isn't classical Greece, we aren't warriors defending blood and soil. A soldier is not a warrior, and I don't want to be a soldier. I'll let thick headed serbs die for the greater good and come back when things cool down. Nazdrave!

Why are Maghrebis so Cringe? I keep reading how they rescued and saved lots of jews during the holocaust, makes me ashamed to be an arab. If they had any sense of self-respect, they would have sent them straight to the germans.

There was a guy killed the other day born the exact same day I was, really hit the feels.
If you were actually literate you could tell he didn't collaborate with anyone, he was just a kid suffering in times of conflict for no reason.
All wars past the introduction of heavy artillery are pretty dark. The moment soldiers had a fancy parade uniform to display what warriors they are, and a dull gray uniform to die in the mud with, is the moment war became hell and I don't want anything to do with it. There is no honor in modern war.

Brazil as an Israeli diplomat once said is a "diplomatic dwarf". Our external politics are historic based on the principle of neutrality which just means that we don't have hard or soft power to do anything and just side on the sideways. In the last few years occurred an approach to socialist and other south hemisphere third world countries from the pt administration, we now know that it was not only a ideological motived move but it was too used as part of a larger corruption scheme with the administration of those countries, the pt and brazilian companies. Bolsonaro is just a dick sucking neo-con, he want to copy the trump policies on china and israel, transferring the brazilian embassy to jerusalem and so on.
