Taiwan will probably try to thwart the initial push from China on itself, kill some boats and landing vessels, shot down a few planes, but they can't stop the onslaught and will surrender, thinking international community will judge China and you will regain independence some other way.

Most of south east asia would love nothing more than for the US to turn those islands back into large craters that the sea can once again fill in, but right now, the chance of that happening is -2/10.
