The only slur Rockstar has let Cowboys use in an M rated game is " Darkies". When I heard it I was laughing. When I initially noticed 3/5 of the first Gang Members of mine I met were black I was dissapointed and just sighed. Flash forward, on a simple mission and one of my gang members is telling me stories about how Native Americans " Got a bad deal on land " and were " treated poorly " by people in the towns. Rockstar legit had a white cowboy in the 1800's synthesizing with violent murderous scalping natives. I was just shaking my head as I read the subtitles, it was almost like a VOX commentary. Now ahead to Chapter II, where you are FORCED to Drive a wagon and participate in a WOMENS RIGHTS and SUFFRAGE protest/rally. Where as in the first Red Dead Redemption women would be getting raped and stabbed behind bars, now they are giving you orders and demanding voting and other rights. Once again I was laughing, had my audio muted for the mission due to the women singing about suffrage the whole mission. And right after I grind through that clear as day propaganda masked as a NPC escort mission I return to camp to find a random woman our gang rescued legitimately intimidating and holding a knife to a HUGE male gang member.She demands to be able to ride, carry a gun and do what the men do. Mission FORCES you to take her out to do manly stuff. While on forced mission with her she changes from her dress INTO COWBOY CLOTHES. I am NOT making this up!.

True, but they do have the Dead Aim system to make it a bit better. And the setting is really bland around Armadillo, but like I said get past that and you will see some rich landscapes. Especially once you get north around Blackwater and the city. Try doing the treasure hunts with the maps as well to see the beauty of the land.
