Why does Gen X think bullying causes shame? For me it caused me to improve my looks and fight back for myself but I don't really care about social norms otherwise.

It makes you so used to groups saying things or doing things against you that you become numb to societal criticism. If anything it destroys shame because you're used to hate. So how exactly is bullying supposed to cause shame?

The hilarious part of all of this is that when Gen X and Boomers talk about getting a job they're talking about blue-collar work that pays no more than lower middle to middle pay. They try to sell you on the idea that college is for stupid people. When they talk about buying a home they mean buying a souless suburban home. A home in the middle of a flyover home-town with nothing in sight but other homes just like it with maybe a Walmart or two.They take 30 year mortgages out on these gay homes and the earlier the better in their mind.
