Does anyone else here find it kinda iffy that it's next to impossible for an individual user with no following beyond their immediate friends and family to get permanently banned from Facebook, whereas public figures can get banned from shit their followers did that they are not even responsible for.

If you're a nobody on Facebook all you'll get for saying the most offensive thing possible is a temporary ban. But if you have some kind of following they'll come up with all sorts of reasons to get you. Try it out if you don't believe me. You can say something like "I hope you get raped by a pack of niggers" and the most you'll get is a 30 day suspension.

But if you have some kind of following then all of a sudden it's lifetime bans for the first thing you do 'wrong.' This really calls into question their claim that this isn't all politically-motivated suppression of right wing content.
