There aren't polarizing views on North Korea, both the left and the right agree that North Korea has to be dealt with. Therefore in the media it is hard to be biased because there is no point. North Korea is viewed as a threat to national security.

1) Some on Jow Forums are naturally sympathetic to North Korea because of its ethnocentrism, regardless of what its politics and culture is like generally
2) The Trump administration is inclined towards hostility to allies that rely on American protection, especially those that do so while displaying ingratitude as South Koreans so often do particularly under the current Moon administration
3) South Korean leftists are constantly spreading pro-North propaganda and denigrating the South Korean state and undercutting its legitimacy. I highly suspect that many Jow Forums memes and ideas about South Korea were actually seeded by leftist groups associated with President Moon and before that, with Roh Moo-hyun and Kim Dae-jung
4) Because of the relatively stressful nature of South Korean society and because of the xenophobia they often experience, many if not most expats in South Korea (mostly US soldiers and English teachers) have an inclination to being bitter about and towards Koreans and Korea. So I can imagine at least some of them actually pushing a pro-North and anti-South Korean position as a sort of "fuck you" to locals here
