The EU and Britain ought to act to save the planet from Jair Bolsonaro

NOT SO FAST HUES!

Fucking Eurocucks now they care.
Brazilian monkeys have been decimating the Amazonia for years already

It's an opinion piece in the Guardian. It's also about how fascism is bad.
I wouldn't use it to line my cat's litter tray. It's not representative of anyone's opinion in the UK... that has power at least. Labour going to labour.

Get off my lawn
We have the bunda codes and we're not afraid to use them

Come on AND TRY IT FAGGOTS

Trees don't contribute to O2 in the atmosphere at all, it's 80% algae and 20% grassland.

a single tree can absorb like 50 pounds of co2 every year

And?

that's 50 pounds of co2 for every tree every year that doesn't add to the acidification of the oceans and global warming, you retarded monkeynigger

OY VEY GOYIM! THE ((((((((((((((((((((((((CLIMATE)))))))))))))))))))))))))

BE MAD
BE MAD
BE MAD
BE MAD

EU and Britain can't even protect themselves, what is this shit ?

Rainforests are one of the most inefficient ways to absorb CO2 and the forest also releases CO2 when trees die and rot, it's not called a carbon CYCLE for nothing.

A small wall of moss like in the pic absorbs as much pollution as 275 trees and doesn't necessarily release it back.

Then plant some trees in your country, you guys are rich and can afford some poverty, while we can't

look at a map man my country is like 95% forest

Plant some more then, and while at it destroy some cities that were once forest too. You guys have money and wealth to do it, while we don't

Wait wait wait...
Weren't we to be AGAINST meddling in other countries elections? Or does that only apply to Russia?

Attached: 1504545581610.png (790x397, 159K)

grown up trees don't
we should start cutting trees to grow new ones then, and plant pine trees since they grow faster

Then go hug your trees and stop wanting to meddle with our land.

>the year is 2045
>America is powered exclusively by coal
>Brazil has burned the entire Amazon to make way for more Russian beef cows
>children think that fish are fantasy creatures like unicorns
>the sun hasn't shone clears for years
*hack* *cough* At least we owned the libs *weeze

We got to wealth first so we get to keep our lifestyle while you cut emmissions ok ok?

Attached: 1fe.png (658x662, 59K)

I hope Bolsonaro burns down the entire Amazon so I can watch treehugers having a meltdown and hopefully killing themselves.

Worthy, fuck this gay earth

>be white
>fuck up eco system for centuries for their own benefits
>telling other race not to do the same

why do you want to eliminate the environment
I just do not understand this mentality

Don't even try, they are fanatics for Bolsonaro. They probably think amazon have 10 species of animals/trees.

>only way to make money is by selling lumber and shit

literally nigger tier

I'm not against protecting biodiversity but this alarmist pseudoscience shit needs to fuck off, there are far bigger issues related to climate change than trees and Brazil is already in the very low end of CO2 emissions per capita thanks to the fact that we're powered mostly by clean energy like hydro.

Attached: CO2_per_capita_per_country[1].png (800x370, 72K)

sound decision
use your head nigger

would you willingly poison your own body for wealth?

So what you're saying is more Co2 would be better for plant life?
Like forests and agriculture?

Nope, it's by industrializing and exploring the mineral resources than it is used mostly by developed countries nowadays. Hence why your media is REEEing so much, cause you will lose access to those sweet resources

>clean energy like hydro
Tell that to migratory fish

What if I told you some of the main contributors to deforestation and pollution in the Amazon are foreign companies?

Attached: chrome_2018-10-31_16-42-09.png (1014x416, 54K)

Why do you want to have a word on what we do with our forest? If we want to explore it, we will explore it.

Can someone confirm if this is true? For fuck sake... should not have come here. One week and my world is allready falling apart. Everything i used to believe.

If this pic is true, then i'm completely done with that climeate change narrative.

Attached: 1538865071842.jpg (641x530, 41K)

Fuck fish

you misunderstood what i said fren
it was a question, not a statement

yeah water has the greatest greenhouse effect
CO2 is less than 1%

It's easy, sue him for election fraud and elect someone literate:
youtu.be/VUTiRx9wD34

Fuck fish

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
that's your solution

>The results of the experiment lead us to suggest that by burning forests in northwestern Australia, Aboriginals altered the local climate. They effectively extended the dry season and delayed the start of the monsoon season.
theconversation.com/how-aboriginal-burning-changed-australias-climate-4454

I hope you faggots like to live in a desert.

Just like we are living in a desert were Mata Atlântica was right?

>been here for one week
>frog poster

cmon bruh

The article just reinforces the fact that deforestation only leads to local change and not some stupid global collapse, that's a completely different issue.

No Russian Hackers this time? Are they on holidays or something?

Are you retarded? By killing the older trees, you'll release CO2 back into the atmosphere. I personally would enforce any laws to prevent the amazon from being destroyed, just because it does keep pollution down, and it affects the climate. Due to the high humidity in jungles, they produce their own rainy weather. Don't go full retard like Haiti, and start cutting down all the trees that prevent flooding, reduce pollution, etc.

This is exactly why chopping down the Amazon is a problem
>96% of co2 emissions (ex., dying trees) are natural
>Slightly more than 96% of co2 emissions have a natural source of sequestration (ex., new and growing trees)
Converting the Amazon into dead biomass would not help with that. But frankly, we locked in our choice for Blade Runner-world between 1945 and 1980 and there's no going back now.

It's time to nuke the monkeys
left or right they are still chimps

they're saving Russian Hacker for the US midterms, just wait until after Nov 6 when the Republicans keep the house/senate and CNN starts talking about Russia again

>By killing the older trees, you'll release CO2 back into the atmosphere.
not if you sell them for furnitures and structures

>duly elected official takes office
Jews: We must save the goyim from who they voted for!
Why do they do this?

I'm usually the type that supports economic freedom, and not too fond of environmentalists in certain things, but when it comes to protecting forests/ jungles and coral reefs, I'm all for it. A lot of medicine is also derived from certain plant species within jungles. Killing an entire forest/ jungle is a nigger thing to do.

Putting up basic CO2 traps in cities would be more than enough to offset the entire rainforest.
CO2 is not the reason why cutting it down is a bad idea, you should talk about its biodiversity and the local climate if you want to defend it but you obviously don't care as long as it doesn't directly affect you.

It's all linked. Even if there isn't a "global collapse' things will change.
The grasses that will replace the forest don't absorb CO2 was much and don't hold back the rivers nearly as well. There will be more material washed out to sea than before and that will cause algal blooms and deadzones like there are off the mouth of the Mississippi

You do realize Brazil can profit off of the Amazon via tourism, and contributions to scientific advancements. You retards just need to control/ charge people outside the country wanting to explore the Amazon for research purposes. Use your brain.

when I went to Brazil I did a homestay so met a lot of locals, they weren't all Anti-American, but they were all anti-America and believed some bizarre conspiracy theory that the US was planning to invade Brazil to annex the Amazon

UMAbros, where the fuck did this theory come from?

>bad goy takes over country
>suddenly that country is a danger to the world because muh goblin warmings

the bullshit never ends.

Britcucks could barely hold their own against the fucking argies, only won because argentines are incompetent fools. They would get btfo the second they put a foot in any beach.

>Putting up basic CO2 traps in cities would be more than enough to offset the entire rainforest.
We've never been able to make those work very well. Artificial CO2 sequestration is just a meme now.
The biggest tool available to us right now is artificially seeding the Antarctic ocean with iron, which is the limited factor to plankton growth. But that's extremely risky and we might be trading too much atmospheric CO2 for something worse.

And yeah, if the Amazon is deforested, I hope Brazil likes the look of the African savanah. The rainforest isn't just a name. It produces rain through the respiration of all the plants. With that gone, it's gonna get dry

>old growth forests are a significant CO2 sink
Do you want to know how we can all tell you have no idea what you are talking about?

I am aware of the local issues deforestation leads to and that's not my argument.
Pseuds pretend it's a "global issue" to try to undermine our authority over our own land.

The EU can't even protect itself, the heck are these people on about?

Attached: vamp6.png (645x718, 526K)

I liked the solution of shooting dust of some reflective material to the upper atmosphere. Provided it doesn't come back down.

This is true.
There are far more efficient ways of removing CO2 that trees.
But the ecosystems those trees help to foster shouldn't be underestimated.
If the forests are regenerated after the mining has finished then I don't see too much of an issue with extracting minerals

Those aren't strictly local though.
The ocean and atmosphere are global. I'm not saying "omg collapse imminent". I'm saying that it doesn't affect the world, just by a bit. And if every country affects the world "just by a bit" it starts to be pretty hefty.

Imagine taking the guardian seriously....fucking eurotards

we were anti-americanists until recently before the right wing cultural revolution, probably some old leftist fake news

It's a terrible idea because it doesn't just cool the Earth, it reduces solar radiation which makes plant growth less effective. Farms would produce less food.
But I guess if it's a last ditch effort.

Its fucking bullshit. before industrial revolution co2 was 285 ppm. its now 406 and rising at 3 ppm per year.

>whitey completely consumes their own natural resources to industrialise and spews poison for centuries
>tells other countries they can't and have to remain undeveloped so that whitey's beach house doesn't wash away

the absolute audacity desu

How long ago was that? Lefties used to be anti-american until Obummer came along, now they are just social media drones that copy american SJWs in every way.
If it was in the Amazon and other such poor regions then I guess they didn't receive the memo yet.

You're liable to lose your mind if you see what it was like before then.

difference is that people didn't know back then. now they do.

Sequester all the CO2 by building things from all the trees. Old growth forsts are a net CO2 generator. Paint your roof white if you give a fuck about "muh warming"

>uh no goy, we have to buy carbon credits and implement a tax plan!

Attached: FB_IMG_1452438306424.jpg (585x800, 58K)

You are failing to realize that a RAINFOREST is not a normal forest, you can't simply wander in it and have some picknicks, the forest is HOSTILE as fuck, to the point of being unreachable until these days with technology and other shit. Sure there will be planning as there is with Pantanal, but you guys have no say in it. IT'S BRAZILIAN TERRITORY FOR FUCKS SAKE

differences is that people didn't know better back then. now they do. sorry you hate white people so much.

tell me fren i see no purpose for this cumbersome sanity anyways

>One week and my world is allready falling apart. Everything i used to believe.
kek, you're gonna be really surprised when you get to the nut of this one lol

Lmao, so now that you know better you should destroy your cities and your industries and rebuild those forests!

Show us on the doll where White Supremacy touched you
also >what is China

>implying the west would have stayed undeveloped if someone told them it hurt the environment

I doubt these people would be able to destroy the rainforest without the benefits of globalization. the rest of the world needs to cut off all trade with them for the good of humanity

The Leaf, from country dependent on open copper mines, forestry and shale oil, talking ANYTHING about the environment... WEW

There is great need in the world today to carryout multiple large genocides.

It's just fearmongering and fake news.
Brazilian right wingers are advocating for better security and surveillance in the Amazon for YEARS. The left is guilty of letting foreign funded NGO's invade the indigenous territories to subvert them to declare independence from Brazil according to the United Nations Principle of Nation Sovereignty.
Bolsonaro's Minister of Defense is General Heleno. He was the Army Commander for the Amazon Region and he has been denouncing this act of treason by the brazilian left for years. He was hated by Lula da Silva and the left because they always posed as "defenders of the amazon" but were basically trying to surrender national territory to big european phamaceutical corporations.

Brazilian politics is not "black and white" as you guys might think.
The Brazilian Left is extremely organized and aligned with foreign communism authorities worldwide.

Please research about "Foro de São Paulo" if you want to know more about it. People have no idea how big and how destructive communists can be in South America. It's not your typical metropolitan liberal who loves champagne and gay sex orgies. It's much worse.

Climate change awareness has been a thing for over a century, the only thing that changed is that countries that contribute far more to climate change are now blaming the relatively clean, developing countries with globalist fearmongering.

And what about Metan Gas, which is about 8x worse. Lard shit

god please EU show your true face. so we can go full alliance with US

touche... im not involved in that, and im against it. globalists (becoming synonymous with canadian, unfortunately) really have us by the balls.

look up the co2 level 146mya then the levels in the precambrian for shits and giggles

I'm actually bretty natsoc but the idea of champagne socialists in their air conditioned rooms writing articles about how third worlders can't have a car and that they should be ascetics because we already live in luxury and we can't both do so triggers me a bit.

It's a subject where some privilege might actually needs to be checked.

>blaming the relatively clean,
per capita clean, overall pretty dirty bc billions of chinamen and poorly enforced regulations

>Climate change awareness has been a thing for over a century
i disagree. more than half the people were "deniers" until very recently.

kek, you're in for a fucking wild ride, this isn't even the beginning.

Attached: costanza peuk.jpg (243x240, 11K)

I bet you're proud when you read some news article about some gigantic windmill farm making enough energy to power an entire village for 30 minutes, meanwhile Brazil has been one of the world leaders in clean energy since forever and no one ever bothers to mention it.

>it is bad when they do it
lmao, a French STATE company in the 70s just polluted the fuck out of a brazilian city and made it inhabitable till today, fucking 1rst world hypocrisy

somewhat reassuring post.
still i have very little faith in humanity to do the right thing over the long run no matter what side theyre on politically.
