At Home With Amy Sedaris is /pol-level subversion of the normies. It plays as a parody of Martha Stewart-type cooking and crafts shows but quietly tears the ass out of every roastie and lesbian you were sorry to meet. Sedaris plays a single, childless TV show host. In one segment her chirpy instruction is undercut with bitter comments about pretending to have a husband. Then she spouts "I made these after I put my kids to bed". She says it ironically but the pain that flashes across her face is palpable. Her lesbian characters are jealous, bitter, and frustrated. The men she selects as friends are milquetoast yet creepy. The character overtly played for jokes is a traditional Southern church-going, Junior League type named Patty Hogg. The sting is that Patty is a happier, more successful and fulfilled woman than Amy is. Watch because Amy Sedaris is a gott-damned genius.

Overall it's alright. s1 "eh" to "Ok", s2 was decent and s3 was "Mostly ok", the führers speeches were good. Nazi assault troops wearing no body armor and dying like stormtroopers to random farmers in single shots, less so, but it's a TV-show.
The pilot was bad, many details had me laughing at it and considering not watching the show at all. For example (not a story spoiler) in one scene, there's flakes of something grey in the air, and some guy just calmly says that they cremate the cripples and retards on thursdays or whatever (even if they did, the whole point of a cremation oven is to collect the ashes).
As long as you're prepared for a bit of that kind of stuff where anything happening in the Reich is just ridiculous to be ridiculous, where it's laugh-inducingly stupid like (not an actual scene.. not yet, anyway):

Then you should be fine. Expect a show with a bit of an agenda, but overall they've tried to keep to making the nazis (who agree to be called "nazi" in the show by people, like a Vietnamese being okay with you calling him a "Vietkong") the technologically superior ones, and so that's pretty cool to see, while retaining most of the right feel for them.
Curiously, the Japanese are almost never seen doing anything unexpectedly bad other than that one scene where they're basically just acting as a proxy for the nazis anyway. They're humble, calm, collected. Overall, it does show more good than bad for both sides, so I see why they had to bring in new writers (if indeed that is what they did).
