You did nothing wrong. Kids aren't that innocent. Had a lady trick-or-treating with 5 or so kids tell me I should sit outside. It is pouring rain and cold. People just feel entitled on this day.
Thats the reason you have small bowls you put stuff in thats enough for 2-3 kids. When its empty you get exactly the next batch you decide. Don't be a puss. You can remove the bowl which is yours, don't touch the kid.
