Forensic psychologist Dr. Park Dietz’s 6 easy steps to prevent mass shootings.
>I’ve repeatedly told CNN and other media to prevent mass shootings
Step one >don’t start the story with sirens blairing Step two >don’t have photographs of the killer Step 3 >don’t make it 24 hour coverage Step 4 >don’t make the body count the lead story Step 5 >don’t make the killer an anti hero Step 6 >do localize the story to the affected area and make the story as boring as possible.
Why hasn’t CNN and others listened to this wise man? Don’t they care about people’s lives and the welfare of the country?
The left doesn't care about lives lost; they only care about banning guns.

Bingo
Normies need to know this. They need to know by tuning into the the news every shooting and leaving their TVs on plays right into the media’s hand. Ad revenue pours in like crazy. The media loves everytime there is a shooting they are like vultures. This video needs to be seen by normies everywhere. Trust in the news is already low, it needs to sink deeper.
Facebook twitter instagram tumblr reddit everyplace imaginable. This has to be the argument on how to reduce mass shootings. The narrative needs to change. It’s the ultimate comeback against the gun grabbing commies.
>sirens are naturally a part of mass shootings, they will be in the recordings of the area but could be edited out, what evidence does he have for this preventing shootings anyway?
>this is retarded
>again, retarded, people will want to know about it and some people don't have the time to watch the news 24 hours a day to catch a 10 minute segment on a mass killing
>the body count is key information
>how do you go about this exactly?
>mass killings are naturally exciting and are hard to make boring

>Why hasn’t CNN and others listened to this wise man? Don’t they care about people’s lives and the welfare of the country?
Of course not. CNN fucking hates America and Americans. How could you possibly not know this?
>da juice invented Krav Maga so it's a conspiracy this might be the dumbest bullshit I've seen in a while and that's saying something

They don’t need to have all the theatrics. They could make it local news. Do the people in a random town in Texas see on the news everytime a dinido kills and robs someone in Florida. Murders and other crime happen all the time around the country and they are not picked up by major news networks. It’s on purpose why do you think every unarmed black person is immediately deemed a saint who dinido nuffin everytime a white cop happens to pull the trigger but cops getting killed by blacks, blacks killing whites or blacks killing other blacks or even cops killing whites dosent make it to the major headlines. The media picks and choices what stories get life. It’s all on purpose to shape the narrative they are trying to tell

So the solution to mass shootingd is sweeping then under the rug? What is this guy an NRA employee?

>>sirens are naturally a part of mass shootings, they will be in the recordings of the area but could be edited out, what evidence does he have for this preventing shootings anyway? You're an idiot or haven't watched shooting coverage before. They often do this with more minor criminal happenings too. They start off the story with blaring siren sound that is often canned. It's all sensationalism that's done for dramatic effect and spree killers know this and it in a way immortalizes them, the way they're covered.
Hunter Gutierrez
I’m just a concerned citizen who dosent like when the media acts irresponsiblly leading to more and more blood shed. Think about it they give the shooter exactly what they want publicity. You take that away the motivation to commit such act decreases. This society is sick it worships the idea of celebrity and fame. Mass shootings are a consequence. As a society we need to learn how to better handle such events to prevent more from happening in the future
Andrew Lewis
As if nobody ever got guns illegally, or that someone planning one of those would care about law. Or even that guns are the only kind of weapons and there are not mass stabbings or even using explosives to get the same effect.
A) Media doesn't care about the public at large B) The whole point of the false flag shootings is to make them known
Brandon Hall
sure they are edited to attract people's attention, as is all media. Just because what you are saying sounds reasonable, it doesn't mean it is true, is there anything proving that sirens in the news cause more shootings? by playing sirens in a report it will attract the viewer to pay attention to a tragic event/story
Nathaniel Edwards
Didn't always used to be like that.

Step 7, public hanging.

This is a good thread, OP. Unfortunately, it's easy to blame CNN and their buddies, write them off as some manipulative, globalist cunts---but really---it's the SYSTEM, man.
All of America's ambitious workforce are not so much competing to make a PURE PRODUCT (i.e. solving problems that people have and being fairly compensated for making the world a better place), they're concerned with making a better PROFIT.
News stations make money off of advertisers, and in order to get more from advertisers, they gotta get more people watching. It's like that Nightcrawler movie, TV companies pitch unethical---but highly dramatized stories--to out compete the other companies and gain the most viewers.
This isn't just because the average nightly news waatchers are a bit dull and brainwashed. Unfortunately, it's relatively inefficient to make thoughtful programming to generate organic, honest fanbases---not just because American's can be really dumb---but because companies have to be tailoring their product to as many people as possible. David Foster Wallace has a quote, something like, "People are essentially the same in their most basic interests, but it's their refined sensibilities where people get drastically different"----i.e. the national//global corporations put out shit that appeals to the most universal, because your white grandma is gonna see that commercial just like JuanitX, the trans-les-bionic beaner man is gonna see it.
You can't be a huge business and and have a smart, nuanced project. Your board of directors would fire you the next day. People will turn on to watch BLOOD!! WHITE TERRORISTS!!! AHHHHHH MOST DANGEROUS TIME TO BE ALIVE!!!! LETS GO INTO THE PSYCHOLOGY OF A MONSTER---because it appeals to their most animal tendencies.
Of course they care. The press cares more than most. They’re doing a job, and frankly a good one, of pushing the only REAL solution - sensible but thorough federal gun control
Lincoln James
(cont.) Ironically, watching the news sort of provides a vicarious outlet for the average american---not to get smarter and be "aware" of the evils by watching news---but by directly participating in it. >When we are audience members, our mirror neurons start firing and we project ourselves into the story. >Our lives are generally so decadent and free from our primordial struggles that we plug into "FAKE NEWS" to feel like their is more danger around us. >i.e. we plug into false narratives in order to feel more alive and more purposefull (talking about us, too, Jow Forums)
///
The thing is---it's essentially like this for every single business and institution in America. It's impossible to appeal to multi-cultural, multi-political, multi-ideological audiences at the national and global level, without reducing your product down to the cheapest, most efficient thrill possible in order to maximize your own overhead. CNN runs these insane news cycles because their jobs and livlihood depends on it---and i'm sure they rationalize to themselves that "the fate of the country depends on them" too.....but they are just one symptom of the most inhuman, mega-centralized versions of capitalistic culture.
Capitalism is an awesome ideal, but it seems to naturally encourage... >being focused on power, influence, and income at the expense of integrity and, literally, public health and our social fibers >instead of being focused on creating a product that actually improves the world, makes it more thoughtful, makes people slow ddown and access their frontal lobes instead of their amydalas
but the problem is, we buy with our amygdalas, not our frontal lobes. So indeed---we aare all complicit in the CNN efffect because we teach these organizations that people will consume all this bullshit, thus providing the natural resource they need to thrive
