why not a spiked pit instead of a wall?

Really should use the actual photo of the caravan for top left image. Much more impactful if it's a real image

Obama actually deported more illegals than his predecessor Bush.

Liberals and democrats like me believe border control and security is important, but a wall isn't going to do shit. We don't believe in open borders and very few liberals actually do.

What most liberals will tell you is that the wall is a fucking waste of money that can be better spent elsewhere. Why? Because even after building a wall, the illegals can easily just build tunnels or erect ladders. We're talking about really desperate people coming from really shithole countries. You think a wall is going to stop them? Also, this isn't considering the fact that many illegals come here by plane
> visiting "family" in Texas for Christmas
> fly over from Mexico
> permanently overstay
> flights as cheap as $100 these days

A more effective strategy is to require all businesses - large and small - to require their employees to prove their citizenship. Hire individuals to vet all businesses across America consistently and randomly. Businesses that are caught with proper documentation are fined and after repeated offenses, will be shut down. Parents will be required to prove the residency of their child if they want to attend school.... All of these options are a lot more effective than building a wall.

Obama was called the deporter in chief by some. So there goes your theory that the democratic party wants open borders.

You seriously just pulled that straight out of your ass didnt you?

THE WALL IS TO KEEP YOU IN

RIP centrism.

I agree, more security would be better. But Trump was smart to promise a wall because it spoke louder than anything else he or his opponents could say. A little impractical, but there will be at least some gains from it. As to the wastefulness of it, remember your stance on that after it gets built and whatever liberal extremist wins on 2024 or 2032 says they are going to tear it all down.

Requesting a full resolution pic of the mexicans in that image

I've grown accustom with the madness and you're not welcome to share in it.

>turning people around at the border is deporting

no

Why not nuke the caravan?

>But Trump was smart
That proves how retarded and idiotic the average American (Republican) is. Incapable of independent thought. Just regurgitating some stupid shit they saw on FOX news.

Good recent example is when those pipe bombs were mailed to Clinton and Obama. You had a lot of Trump supporters rallying behind the theory that it was actually an organized attempt from the left to discredit the Republican party----- even AFTER Cesar Sayoc was arrested and now currently awaiting trial.

We live in one of few countries in this world where citizens can think freely for themselves. In many other countries, information is purposely censored from the public in an attempt to suppress independent thought. I'd expect these idiotic conspiracy theories from these countries not from Americans. I've come to the conclusion that democracy is a failure. Doesn't work when half your populace is retarded.

I'm a gonna bomb, bomb iran or not ?

This but absolutely and completely unironically

The Ming Dynasty built the Great Wall in China.
But Ming was collapsed from their inside because of shit government.

They built the wall to keep people in

That and the wall was only ever symbolic, men posted to guard the frontier used to get so bored they would ride off to join the bandits they were supposed to be guarding against.

The wall was really just meant to be a barrier to slow down advancing armies long enough that the Chinese could prepare. That's what the posts along the wall were for.

We can't build a wall like that goy! That would cost trillions with 21st century technology!

A wall is actually very bad for the US reputation in the world.
The US was one of the main proponents of the freedom of movement during the Cold War, during creation of the UN, etc.
The US building walls is literally as bad an image as the Soviet Union and the Berlin Wall.
How exactly the US will assert its moral right as the leader of the free world, when it is building walls?

And if the US actually loses that moral right than the free world will look elsewhere for leadership and that will be extremely bad for the citizens of the US.

The US ought to be better than this.
