George Soros IS the head of an international shadowy cabal. it's called the Open Societies Foundation. they funnel hundreds of millions of dollars into the coffers of anyone opposing liberalism. they would rather see a country impoverished and destroyed rather than pornography or same sex marriage being banned.
Soros' idealism has created a paradox, the more he pushes liberal democracy, the more people push back against it. and the more people push back against it, the more aggressively they push it. It's like libertarianism. at some point, 100% freedom will restrict or undermine your own values, if not create a situation where the closer you get to libertarian ideals, the closer you are to the extremes of politics.

Soros was good friends with a very important scientific philosopher called Karl Popper. Both of them were hardcore liberalists, if i can borrow that phrase. it's basically hyper individualism meets libertarianism meets global capitalism. with a huge, mega huge emphasis on global capitalism. they felt that the best way to "liberate" the people of the world was through something they called liberal democracy.
If you've ever looked at what the illuminati were originally pushing, it's practically identical. whereas the illuminati through frank, weishaupt and rothschild was ultimately about undermining the old world ruling class, namely the church and the royal bloodlines (the ones they didn't like), Soros sees himself more as a liberator of the downtrodden.
Now, whether that's his real intention has been long speculated, but regardless of any occult motive, the result is identical. Personally, I don't think Soros is a stooge of some nefarious group, I think he's just a idealistic jew with a savior complex. but the path to hell is paved with good intentions.
