Communist Jews tried to overthrow the German government and got thousands of Germans killed. WW1 veterans acting as militia had to put the revolt down, and they later became the core of the SS/SA. Jews would rather you not know this though because the narrative is that they're the world's most perfect victims. There is a common theme of 25-35 year old men having been told by their 60-70 year old parents about their 'european roots', and having produced some sort of coat of arms. The sad truth is that during the 80's and 90's there was a fad of 'investigative genealogy' where fly by night companies would tell people about their family history after 'exhaustive' genealogy and investigative work. It was almost totally made up, and the family crest also a total fabrication.
My family had a "crest" also and were supposedly minor nobility in Germany, etc. etc. I believed it for many years, and then I had actual DNA testing done through three different agencies, and found out that I am almost entirely anglo saxon and far northern european (scandanavian), with no germanic / slavic / vandal blood at all.
There was no family in germany, and our family name was not german after all, despite "looking" german. It was simply a re-spelled common northern english name. My dumb boomer parents were sold a lie and grasped onto it since they were not sure of their roots, or embarrassed by them (peasantry).

The genetic makeup of northern English is substantially different than that of east Germans. There is no possible way to be a descendant of east Germans, with entirely northern English and Scandinavian DNA.
