Seems to me the only reason the left has any power is because we let the labels they give us have power. A lot of us are unironically not those things, so we adamantly defend ourselves from those labels.
But what would happen if we all just said, "Fuck it. I don't care. Yeah, I'm a racist, sexist, Nazi, okay... What now?"

I do this and it catches people off guard. They want me offended and when I'm not they get annoyed. It's defused a few situations when I simply told someone that I don't care and then proceeded to ignore them. It probably also helps that I'm a decently big guy and am not easily physically intimidated.

Then they'll go on about what a cold, heartless person if you don't even care about [subject]. Then they confirm each other over claiming the moral high ground and proceed like usual.

Well, admitting to being a sexist or a nazi, which are deplorable attributes anyway, does mean the other person has the moral high ground.
