If you only take the test without studying the subject a little more then I agree with you, but with a bit of comprehension of the subject it becomes an accurate way to understand yourself and your acquaintances.

a cursory look leaves me with the impression that jung's work is mostly about mind control.

it's interesting that the "archetype" is a central concept in his work. i've also used the word "archetype" in an almost identical manner. i'm not sure why i originally selected this word, but it does describe the concept fairly well.

perhaps a framework based on game theory, reinforcement/conditioning, and dynamical systems could more accurately model human society. jung's work looks more like a reference manual for lizardmen.

Children's brain develops better when exposed to difficult concepts, but nonetheless school subjects are constantly simplified and children-aimed medias are more and more retarded. Both are predominantly inwardly focused. INTJ leads with intorverted intuition which is a perceiving function, INTP leads with introverted thinking which is a judging function. Latters is oriented around creating new theories and frameworks, former around implementing and refining existing theories.
