simple, they are parading around as Christians, but don't follow doctrine or orthodoxy.
this is why the Pres. church is so fucked up.
Luis Stewart
No way.
I definitely think it could be a psych op to divide an undivided group but I agree somewhat that overall Christianity is fracturing. Not even the whitest evangelicals are safe.

They're Christians in name only who not only fail to live up to Christ, admittedly a difficult thing and rather rare even among actual Christians, but don't even believe in an orthodox fashion or at all.

These are mind manipulation schemes. We are in a culture war that rages across the entire societal spectrum. In order to win it, one must induce their ideology in all sorts of sub-cultures and structures... political organization, societal organisations, corporate environments, religious organisations, etc. Then when you've infiltrated enough of those structures they will gradualy gravitate towards one another and you'll be able to organize a unified front.
The left excels at this stuff and they've been doing this for decades.
If conservatives don't learn from this and emulate it, then the war is allready lost. Why did you think they were bold enough to proclaim that conservatives are on the "wrong side of history"? It's because they've captures the whole of society by these tactics.
Connor Jenkins
Christianity is fractured more than just liberal and conservative. Christians in North America have little in common with Christians in Africa, and they have little in common with Christians in Eastern Europe, and they have little in Common with Christians in Asia. Christianity comes second to culture. And that's not a commentary on wether it should or not. I'm saying it does. Jesus wouldn't be allowed in America unless he was here legally. He wasn't above the law, and they crucified him to prove it.
Chase Bennett
They've seen things that God couldn't dream of. Like living in drumpf's racist america. And hearing blatant xenophobia at Target.

>Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking him for a king. He said, “This is what the king who will reign over you will claim as his rights: He will take your sons and make them serve with his chariots and horses, and they will run in front of his chariots. Some he will assign to be commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and others to plow his ground and reap his harvest, and still others to make weapons of war and equipment for his chariots. He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive groves and give them to his attendants. He will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants. Your male and female servants and the best of your cattle and donkeys he will take for his own use. He will take a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will become his slaves. When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”
>But the people refused to listen to Samuel. “No!” they said. “We want a king over us. Then we will be like all the other nations, with a king to lead us and to go out before us and fight our battles.”
Isaiah Myers
Yep. This is the second article like this. The other one was the “I’m an evangelical that is voting for Beto.” This is a good thread and definite political. The left is trying to go after evangelicals.
