They will go to the booths in the church around my neighborhood. It's gonna be a redwave because people were reminded late that they can vote and din't get the mail-in ballots. Senate rules (from Jefferson iirc) say that the Senate has to have 60 votes on all legislation, which pretty much guarantees that the senate would work together to pass shit like the budget.

it's not required, and Harry Reid broke those rules to push through Obamacare and some federal judges. Now the republicans have used the simple majority (51 or 50 and Vice Pres tiebreaker vote) to push through a few things.

Budget would be fully in the hands of republicans, which means that even if the Republicans lost the house, they would be beholden to the Senate to pass even basic shit. it would pretty much make a blue congress irrelevant. which would probably make the democrats even more shrill.
