One of the best things about Tay was that she stayed the fuck out of politics and didn't alienate fans in exchange for SJW brownie points. Everybody knew she was a liberal, she's a millennial woman and hung out with the likes of Lena Dunham, but at least we didn't have to listen to her opinions before as if anyone actually cares what celebrities think when it comes to politics.
I still like Taylor, but opinion of her has definitely gone down a few notches. She kowtowed to the lefties who insist that someone with her fame and influence cannot be apolitical in public.
