No narrative is needed. The article is a journalistic disgrace. The worst case of burying the lede I've ever seen from newsweek. The basic facts that the article even admits to prove that. He moved back and forth across the border at will under democratic AND republican presidents. And being a violent felon, it's not like he acquired that AR 15 legally. It's a complete non sequitor.
Simply posting the article headline, and pointing out the blatant contradictions from the article within is more than enough.
