There's a Polish coworker I used to work with and she would text me and message me about hanging out on weekends and wanted to walk with me after work and stuff like that. I thought alright, she wants to get to know me and start off something, so I started being friendly back and engaging with her in a more friendly manner. BOOM within one of the first instances of me doing this she's already acting like it's outside of the boundaries of her normal ethic with me and she acts all surprised or that she doesn't get my signals and basically makes me feel embarassed or annoyed by her. So again, I basically stopped giving her attention and again she would come back to me saying she wanted to hang out or walk with me, ok so I walk with her and talk with her in a more distanced way and she decides to tell me about this guy she's going to be seeing on the weekend and how she's going to fuck him and I'm just thinking to myself what the fuck is wrong with you? Not only does she rebuff my friendly attempts, but now she tells me things like I'm her friend and telling me shit about her sexlife like she's trying to get me jealous or trying to tell me to back off when I wasn't even making moves...

She was just a confusing girl. I wasn't even really that interested in hooking up with her, but her signalling was really inconsistent and after a while was just annoying. She could've been a good friend at least but even that she didn't do and in the end she just left the office for another workplace and basically burned all bridges.
