When the city of Macon and Bibb County consolidated a few years ago the local government had 60+ million in excess funding. That is now gone. This city often makes top 10 in the nation for violent crime per capita. 7 teenagers have been killed in the past 3 months alone.
This is a shit hole of a city that I will be leaving soon.
The south is filled with places like this and the fact that a woman like Stacy Abrams has the potential to run this State is fucking terrifying.
