Yes, but only Canada
No. Sci-fi is jewish propaganda.
No.
By then everything will be Canada.
What about Starship Troopers?
Hopefully not. While I can appreciate star trek for it's campyness and comfiness, they are a bunch of hippies.
It's all jewish propaganda.
After the great awakening yes; in a sense. Ascension is the goal
SciFi's be the devil
>President is an alien
>Top down centralized authority
>Numerous coup attempts and invasions
>Public have no weapons
>Dukat did nothing wrong
Sounds like a great future
This, and it may get worse soon.
If we're lucky.
canada will be the last refuge of humanity
Not until we get rid of these guys
It wasn't always this way.
Starship troopers if we win
We are heading into the age of Gods
No. Not ever.
Starship troopers is a libertarian and conservative utopia desu. There is little socialist or fascist about it
Terran Federation NOW!
more like Tower of Babel v2.0
No, because Paris still exists in that pic and the frenchman is white.
Yes. Not that I am in favor of it.
No chance. We are headed into maximum democide and genocide for funzies.
Elvish world of middle earth would be more likely
Yeah, but not in the way you expected.
A sanctuary district in every city
Only Elon and a small number of technocratic centrists will be permitted. Everyone else can fuck off and roast on a dying Earth.
everybody in France on TNG has a British accent though, implying there was some event that led to the final solution to the Frenchman problem
liberals evolve into orcs, trolls, the imams and religious snake oil salesmen into balrogs and the banker and politician types into dragons.
conservatives into elves, dwarves, hobbits, human, ents.
Star Trek Creates evil greedy capitalist to be villain in TNG. Fails miserably. Then create the Borg a group that literally forces everyone to adapt to be the same. Some of the greatest Trek villains ever till Voyager fucks it up.
In fact I argue Quark is one of the best Trek characters ever.
Fight me over the Space Jews!
Way too many shitskins & meritocracy is dead
>civilizations never end
>we just keep going in one continuous timeline
Good goy
the various shitskins overrunning the planet will never lead us into a spacefaring utopia
Quark did nothing wrong. The Federation ends up destroying his culture. They indoctrinate his brother and then his feminist mother mindfucks the obviously senile Grand Negis into declaring his brother Negis so that he can turn Ferenginar into the Federation Lite.
On that note, I present to you the most redpilled scene in the history of Star Trek.
>Sci-fi is jewish propaganda
People like you shouldn't speak.
Why not? It's the truth..
Ya'll some optimistic mutha fuckas.
Who can look at this world and realistically see it doing anything but sliding back into a new dark age? Sure, science is progressing, but that isn't enough, and it's too late now. In every other area that matters mankind is regressing.
The west will fall apart and the rest will follow in short order. You think China will hold? Not when they have no factory orders and hundreds of millions are out of work. We're too interconnected and once the first big domino topples, that's all she wrote.
Lol you fucking nerds, I love it
Fuck no. We'll be lucky if we get mad max at this point.
Star Trek is (failed) propaganda, but Sci-Fi as a whole is not, and you're a fool if you think it is.
>science is progressing
Not really. It's just iterating on a small handful of things we learned in the 20th century. We haven't discovered anything actually new in the 21st.
Oh yeah, you got me with your technicality, good job. If everything that anyone said on Jow Forums had to be an absolute, then no one would post anything you fool.
New Zealand will survive, get rich and buy a hilltop escape while you can...
Kek. And also tru tru
We are following a timeline more similar to Starship Troopers
what is "sci-fi as a whole"?
No, more like 1984 with a little Idiocracy thrown in.
^This
DS9 literally came into the scene took Roddenberry's view of Utopia and literally tore it up. Load of bullshit.
youtube.com
You see this would never fly in Gene's perfect Utopia where we all float around space on the SS Sunshine. So many Redpills compared to the Other Treks.
I saw that movie back in the day, and hated every moment of it. Of course, my communist friend thought it was the greatest shit he'd ever seen. I had not wat he'd it since it came out, but since fuckers like you talk about it all the time, I decided to give it another go. What a mistake. That movie is a literal pile of anti American garbage. I don't know why I listen to you fuckers about things.
Explain.
DS9 actually makes the Federation interesting because you see the flaws in it. Its not a utopia, it has a lot going for it, no poverty, no one going hungry; but it homogenizes everyone into this state dictated meritocracy where the government chooses who has merit.
Picard is kind of the epitome of the Federation's perfect man. He's brilliant, he's brave, he's honorable and moral and he's completely committed to serving the state and upholding its ideology. TNG presents him as a perfect hero, DS9 makes you question that.
Fuck no
Maybe the movie is but the society it depicts (and the one in the book) is pure dankness
PLEASE
The entire movie makes a mockery of national pride. And members of the military. Sorry for my obvious phone posting, I'm having a shit right now.
the only reason the federation is utopian at all is because of magic anti-matter power and magic replicators. You take those out and it's just a communist dystopia.
no. too much diversity
>The entire movie makes a mockery of national pride
Like GI Joe?
>And members of the military.
Again, like GI Joe?
I don't know man. I don't watch GI Joe.
Nope. Star Trek depends on everyone and everything being equal, just misunderstood. The real world of Sci Fi will be like a vastly less politically correct version of Fallout. (No social justice plots inserted into main game play, unless you are using "equality" to import more slave labor from poor countries and "racism" to shut down people who want you to stop forcing integration on their communities while keeping yours pure.) Star Trek is every insufferable white self hating idiot rolled up into a ball of smug delusional day dream with a cherry on top. Imagine the two part episode Best Of Both Worlds. Now imagine if the Borg weren't the only cats on the block who were that powerful. That is what real life space ship wars will be like. Imagine if phasers and photon torpedoes were powerful enough to destroy whole solar systems. That's what real life will be like. Star Trek has a lot of shit packed into it to build tension for a audience that has products sold to it (commercials.) Real life Star Trek will be jaw dropping and nightmarish.
Yes except with more niggers and none of them are flying anything
The flaws have always been there but they were never allowed to be freely explored. There's always been some rather unsightly undertones to the Federation even when seeing it through Kirk's eyes.
Pretty much and even with the magic post scarcity replicators. Scarcity and class still exist. Not everyone gets to be Captain someone has to do the shitty jobs like Chief O'Brien, that's class and while a replicator can crank out gold bars all day it can't print up beachfront property for you, that's scarcity.
>The entire movie makes a mockery of national pride.
Because it portrays itself like actual war propaganda from the 1950's?
>And members of the military.
How so?
No. Star Trek it's a communist utopia. Communism can't never lead to such a development of our civilization. Imagine going through those risky adventures, just for curiosity, no real reward...bullshit.
>TNG O'Brien: Bored engineer
>DS9 O'Brien: Perpetually tortured engineer
You have no credibility or validation for this claim.
Well every admiral is a power-crazed lunatic so they got that part right.
Name a source of energy discovered and implemented after photovoltaics then.
Star Trek is, at its roots, a post-scarcity society. "Post-scarcity" means literally nothing is rare. Literally nothing has real monetary value anymore. Energy is free and plentiful. Chocolate cake is free and plentiful. Gold is free and plentiful. As much as you want of anything you want. That's Star Trek.
Without that, there is no Star Trek.
We need a revolutionary new energy source. If it was easily portable or if we get a revolutionary new battery tech to go with it, that would be nice as well.
Civilizations crash from time to time, but technology doesn't end. People still build shit and discover new things upon the old.
Republicans
>four fundamental forces
>limited phenomena arising from them
>90% of the progress in the last century has come from electromagnetism because the other three have very little to practically offer.
>oh but it's actually infinite, dear. You know, like in the poorly thought out science fiction written by jews.
>I could hear the clank of the autodock.
>A short hiss.
>"You have arrived at MAGA 5," announced the navcomp.
>I stepped outside into the offboard.
>Through a giant virtual window, I could barely make out the remains of Israel and the Vatican.
>A massive crowd up ahead.
>I caught a glimpse of his tuxedo in the crowd.
>Them hoes was all on him.
>I pushed through to get next to the man.
>He turned to look at me.
>With a smile on my face, I reached out my hand.
>"Thank you, Mr. Icke"
>but technology doesn't end.
Yes it does. You going to invent a perpetual motion machine someday?
Nope, we are headed towords a Babylon 5 society.
Where Ruskies wear funny head dresses and are named "Lando".
O'Brien must suffer
I mean, clearly not, because there's no defensive barricade around the Eiffel Tower in that pic.
All things considered, i think most of us would rather be DS9 O'Brien.
Forcefields are invisible.
This... example from from of the Red Pill TNG moments.
youtube.com
She literally is the ultimate SJW admiral
More like Elysium and Camp of Saints.
We would already have AI and fusion if the Axis won WWII, and America didn't cuck on race.
>a post-scarcity society
Post-scarcity is a communist meme that'll never happen. Even in Star Trek, exploration, science, and discovery are the scarce commodities they are chasing after.
Star trek is a nightmare vision of the future.
Almost all "trekkies" are pedophiles.
>The entire movie makes a mockery of national pride
W-what? I mean the book was quite ___ _______.
do you ever recall seeing any muslims in startrek?
or is it just me that doesnt remember that bit?
Meaning is what they're chasing after. The depths of space are nothing compared to the void in their souls.
More like the idiocracy
Yes but we're closer to ferenginar than the federation.
There was an episode of first season TNG where Tasha Yar fought some black Muslim.
>nothing is rare
Latinum is a rare silver-colored liquid metal that was used as currency by the Ferengi Alliance and many other worlds. For ease of transaction, latinum was usually suspended within "worthless" gold as a binding medium to produce gold-pressed latinum.
Not until WW3 comes and we kill 90% of chinks, poos, niggers, spics and arabs.
Not a fucking chance in hell faggot
The future will only be a long slow degeneration with constant proxy wars moving populations more totalitarian rule and mass starvations until everywhere resembles Brazil with Chinese government.
>That is what real life space ship wars will be like. Imagine if phasers and photon torpedoes were powerful enough to destroy whole solar systems. That's what real life will be like.
If interstellar civilizations where you can bodily travel from one star to another ever come into existence, war in space is going to be like MAD cranked up to 11 because of relativistic kinetic kill vehicles. I would actually bet that the only safe places to live in space are on the planets of non-stellar, unnoticed species and on space stations specifically designed to be hard to spot, because anything else is just asking to get slagged by tiny missiles which will be incredibly hard to spot when traveling at any significant fraction of C, but nevertheless capable of rendering Earth-size planets uninhabitable with just one impact. And this isn't unimaginable technology by a long shot, we could make a relativistic KKV with modern tech.
Probably the stupidest thing our species is doing right now is broadcasting our location. Anyone who's already in the interstellar game of MAD who sees us is going to blow us up before we can do it to them. They have to.
why don't they use their magic replicators to make latinum out of energy?
