As much as I do hate the SJW moments in this game, the story itself is one close to a masterpiece.
The character arch's, development, narrative building and world development is something close to perfect in my opinion. Arthur and Dutches relationship is something that really drives this story. Yes, there are some SJW moments when it comes to some of the women in this game (Sadie Adler for example) but the overall narrative is good. As much as I don't want to admit it, Women's Rights was something that was happening in this time (The Suffragettes was a movement that existed between 1858 - 1928, Rockstar is simply trying to be historically accurate while not trying to piss anyone off in this political climate, its a smart move on their part) as well as the story telling with the Native Americans. Some Native Americans sold their land for beads but some did get fucked over with peace treaties being betrayed as well as the stealing of some of their land for oil development.
Overall, its a good game, just try to ignore some of the SJW moments and you will enjoy it.
I'm about 25% in and so far this game is fucking garbage.
