this is the one exception, I tend to vote no on these things to spite them for raising taxes but between the terminals in Bellingham and Anacortes and the Olympic pipeline, cleanup for fuel spills is chronically underfunded. The total tax amount is low and taken over a long time. There will be another incident like the one up in Bellingham in the 90s eventually and we don't have the money to clean it up. The pipeline company will go bankrupt if they get sued over it and there will be jack shit for money unless FEMA steps up to assume liability.

Be careful on one of the 163X ones. My dad said that it’s worded confusingly so it sounds like you should vote no, but to avoid the tax you actually have to vote yes.
