Engineering/CS/unfinished math curriculum gives the brain, apart from a good logical training, some incredible flaws and biases that fucking castrate the enginigger from participating in politics. Thing is it's not easy to recognize this coming from a STEM frame of mind. So unless your parents, or you as a parent, know what you're doing - it's unlikely to work out.
Though *finished* master (better yet Ph.D) in math is extremely useful, because it teaches to think in a lot of different frames, switch them, and know their flaws. It's also good if there's a rigorous statistics course, it helps building more robust generalizations and thinking with probabilites.
