Why are SPICS (Mexicans in specific) the most fair-weather race of all time? I've lived in Houston for 14 years (Majority minority city) had so many encounters that all turn out the same, they're friendly, but when you need their help with something or something serious occurs, they express little to no visible concern and just look plain uncomfortable. Can someone please shed some light on this issue?

As a true Mexican, born, raised and still living in Mexico I can confirm this. We have no beef with whites and it is true that we view whites as far more educated and trustable. A Mexican will stay away from other low class browns if possible (walking down a deserted street or place), but feel safer around whites.
