Yeah, how does one know beforehand what is 'uwarranted or unwelcome'? If I say, 'whoah, you look nice today' to a coworker it could either be met with a 'thanks' or with me getting fired and my employer being sued for sexual harassment.
Some women actually love being complimented on their appearance. I just keep that shit to myself though, since I know how fragile most women are. If I'm interested in them, I'll say so, but just because I really mean it, and I want them to feel good about themselves.
