An 18-month-old toddler has died of measles in Jerusalem, the first recorded death from measles in Israel in the past 15 years. According to officials at the capital’s Shaare Zedek Hospital, the infant was not vaccinated against the virulently contagious disease.
The girl may have contracted the disease from her parents, both of whom were diagnosed with measles and neither of whom had been vaccinated.
The girl’s death comes amid the growing phenomenon of parents refusing to vaccinate their children, due to various discredited and unproven claims that the life-saving practice is dangerous.

He is obviously not paying for this care, so(if he is lucky) he leaves the hospital a few days later and disappears forever. He is undocumented so he is free to show up at a different hospital under a different name during his next heart attack. The problem is, medical care isnt cheap. The hospital needs to make money somehow. So they raise the prices of everyone elses healthcare services. This creates the need for insurance, which creates a situation where many people are paying a company an arbitrary amount, determined by profit margins, so those companies can give that money to other insurance paying individuals, so they can give that money to the hospital, so the hospital can continue to save everyones life. If healthcare costs came straight from government pockets, a few things would happen. Your taxes might go up slightly, but I guarantee you it would be less than monthly insurance costs in the relatively unregulated market we have now.
