Okay, it's a boring piece of shit like the other Bioshock games with slow movement, narrow corridors with funneled and unoriginal content strung throughout them, dumb mechanics like looting trash cans, filler audio tapes all over the place no one really cares about, and a lame story set in a lame setting to appeal to Doctor Who faggots. These games have always been highly overrated, and System Shock was better in every way. Play Prey from 2017 if you want a modern System Shock that isn't shit.

The portals are called tears by Elizabeth. The Vox Populi are the working class of Black, Chinese and Irish in Columbia getting fucked hard by the Fraternal Order Of The Raven, The Columbia Fraternal Order Of Police Authority, Fink Manufacturing, Comstock and the regime of Columbia. They later rise up and turn into a militia. In the timeline, your ship is boarded by Vox. They need the Chinese gunsmith. You look for him but he is already dead in the basement of Fink MFG. Elizabeth opens a tears to a parallel world where his wife is White and the sister of the Captain of the Columbia Police. Instead of being killed, he is set free in thiis reality. You fight some peeps, go back to his gunsmithing workshop and you find him, he makes the guns for the Vox, the war happens. You jump to another reality in which Booker joined the Vox due to Elizabeth/Anna not yet meeting. He meets Daisy and she recruits him to the Vox. He's dead in this timeline but he is a hero. You get through that, fight a handyman and get back to the ship,

The core argument in the game is that extremism is always wrong because going far enough in either direction creates the same outcome.

Unless learning the message that violence is wrong regardless of motive and that the end's 99% of the time don't justify the means then its I would say its not red pilled.

Daisy realizes you are dead and that somehow you and Elizabeth know each other and are alive so the Vox attack you. Daisy kills Fink and she wasn't about to kill the kid but she had to make it look like she was going to kill the kid so that Elizabeth kills her with the scissors. You go on through the rest of the game but what you do not know until you play Burial At Sea is that the Lutece Twins came to Daisy and that it was all planned to make Elizabeth willing to commit murder. Elizabeth goes to alternate Rapture, with Booker, that whole lighthouse montage happens, you die. In Burial At Sea, there is one last you that she goes to kill because in his world, Anna's head was severed instead of a pinky so it killed her. By this point, they're in Rapture. He's a Pinkerton again and Elizabeth is there to kill him in 1959. TL;DR She gets him killed, a little girl gets endangered, Elizabeth gets killed, she comes back to life with no powers or parallel selves, she gets the girl back, is forced to work for Ryan and Atlas who is Frank Fontaine, you give him the sleeper cell code, he kills you, Sally holds your hand as you die, Jack arrives and crashes the plane into the ocean, starting Bioshock one's events in this world with the last Booker and Elizabeth.

You missed the whole plot. All of this is linked to Bioshock 1. There's not much to be redpilled on.
