Does anyone other than pseudo-intellectual lefty Boomers listen to the pretentious crap that is Public Radio anymore? Why are our tax-dollars paying for this only to hear them beg constantly on-air for more money? Just pull the plug already.

Its got some good world news that i find interesting. I have an hour drive to work and its better than radio """comedians""" in the morning
Kill all Jews until there are none left.
> but NPR can't be biased
It's primarily college students and lefty X'ers who listen to that bullshit here.
>Its got some good world news that i find interesting. I have an hour drive to work and its better than radio """comedians""" in the morning
I listen to NPR unironically for the comedy.
This is the case for me. I'll often get frustrated listening to it, but radio is such shit that my choice really comes down to npr, classical music, or an audiobook.
I like to listen to it in the mornings before work. I end up screaming at my radio for 20 minutes before work starts. Helps wake me up in the morning
I listen at work sometimes but it’s mostly hate listening. That cunt Terry Gross needs to die, snide bitch.
The only good and legitimately funny show on npr was car talk. The folk music show is pretty good too, that's about it.
I like On Point before they got rid of the original host because of some metoo shit, he was liberal but was honestly trying to be balanced. Terry Gross may be a huge kike but has interesting guests. You bet your garden is good. Backstory used to be good before they got rid of the white people and it became black history the show. On the Media is like some weird kike introspective shit.
I'm glad you listen to all the worst possible shows.
I listen to national pozzed radio
Sorry fren :^) I also like this american life. Nostalgia if anything.
NPR is almost comedically propagandic
Planet money is also good.
NPR's midterm coverage is bad for your health. They usually get 2 pros on their shows and both of them liberal.
I can't listen to it on the weekends though, waaay too cringy
Their coverage of the Cavanaugh case was mind blowing. Liberals really are mentally ill as fuck.
Weekends are terrible. All shitty comedy shows followed by lesbian seagal tier folk music for hours.
I watched PBS's coverage of the Democrat primaries back in 2016 and it was pretty funny seeing how everyone basically supported Bernie but still got BTFO by the DLC.
Oh good. That way you can learn about how cool it is to sexually molest young children under the aegis of calling them "trans"
I hope somebody hangs you from a tree so everybody can see what an evil pervert you are.
Their Kavanaugh coverage gave me cancer
I listen to them in an effort to keep up with "the other side." It makes me want to pull my hair out and i often find myself screaming at the radio while driving. Their propaganda is so thickly layered, its ridiculous. How anyone can listen to them unironically (and believe them) is beyond me.
You're a fucking blind ass lemming if you can't see that some shows are totally apolitical.
>Weekends are terrible. All shitty comedy shows followed by lesbian seagal tier folk music for hours.
I imagine thats what it must be like living in Portland or Sanfagscrisco.
"The law was just unbelievable in its clarity of racism," says (((Stephen Klineberg))), a sociologist at Rice University. "It declared that Northern Europeans are a superior subspecies of the white race. The Nordics were superior to the Alpines, who in turn were superior to the Mediterraneans, and all of them were superior to the Jews and the Asians."
Better than cnn or msnbc but that’s a low bar.
Well it's not This American Life. You're behind the times if that's not how you learned about destroying the lives of young children with satanic medical rape.
Try living between Vermont and New Hampshire, I'll give you a hint, Vermont has more powerful broadcasting.
About half a year ago some dumb cunt was on NPR talking about having a stroke and how fascinating it was for her when her internal monologue stopped due to her brain's speech center being damaged. At the time I thought "I can understand the relief in not having to listen to your own retarded twaddle" but now I think it may have been an extremely early form of the NPC meme
>You're a fucking blind ass lemming if you can't see that some shows are totally apolitical.
You must be autistic as fuck if you cannot detect liberal tier snarky humor they'll inject constantly, usually when they're interviewing some sodomite who'll make a mean spirited joke about christians etc.
I'm talking about shows like you bet your garden, the splendid table, milk street radio. All about growing stuff and cooking, no politics at all.
NPR is claiming that Democrats are running on Healthcare. This is the most blatant lie any MSM outlet has tried to commit to. They are honestly afraid to admit Dems are running against Trump because Trump is doing a good job. They are on par with CNN. What makes them worse is our tax dollars fund them.
CNN is on the break room at work. Total shit.
Tell them to change it
I try and listen to them but some times its too much. Their "fair and balanced" panel for a show one time, I'm not kidding, Vox, Vice, and Huff Paint.
With the passing of Tom Magliozzi(car talk co-host) there is no point to ever listen to NPR.
Yeah, the splendid table with some fat wench who invites a faggot of such proportions it can't even be hidden if he pretends he has a lesbian wife to talk about how they just had the best arugala salad from a small shop in the mountains of new hampshire.
>Try living between Vermont and New Hampshire, I'll give you a hint, Vermont has more powerful broadcasting.
So you don't have a bunch of shitty christian radio shows playing on like ten different stations throughout the FM and AM dial?
Only a twoish classical music stations when they aren't shilling on NPR/CSPAN.
"Lets see what else is on"
Niggers spouting, stupid repetitive pop music.
"Ill just turn the radio off for now."
"Or listen to reviewbrah on shortwave."
Could be worse, you could have the CBC
Jesus get your poor ass some serius radio.
Can't even think of going back to normie radio... yuckk...
do not miss commie radio talkers whining about shit thinking they're funny while doing it. No commercials now and between the 4 or 5 channels I listen to, there is always something on..something good too, not just listen-able
Sp yeah..get up on this level poorfags
I listen occasionally for Scott LaMar's show, that's about it though. Their other news coverage is dog shit. What finally made me stop tuning it all for the most part was some piece about how the term "white trash" is racist.... against poc. I just started laughing and having listened to it much since.
I really don't care about someones politics if they have a good recipe if they want to share it. Have you become so bitter, so politicized that you can't separate the person from their politics?
We got catholic radio, mormon radio, like 5 NPR stations, Country, Classic Country, Classic rock, Conservative talk radio (which I can elaborate on who they pick), and weather.
No, they have a gigawatt static transmitter, which is how the government forces them all to listen to NPR.
TED talks epitomize NPR. $5000/seat, but it's for the "little people". Every NPR show is to market a book, a study, a movie or whatever random person is marginalized that week.
AND NEVER EVER ANYTHING ON THE FED.
What if you ever grew a brain in your life?
Jesus Christ ya'll must live in some real liberal shitholes.
>tfw you can drive through any shitty part of rural FL and listen to short band radio or your favorite conservative radio show host.
Holy fuck. I always pictured in my head what Terry Gross looks like and it was pretty much spot on. That’s chilling.
>mormon radio
that must be fun to listen to
That's a surprisingly flattering pic of Peter Sagal. Dude is literally a cave goblin from The Descent.
I enjoy it. It’s mostly good though occasionally annoyingly slanted.
ha (((Terry Gross)))
We listen to it every chance we get. Know thy enemy.
soros funds npr. they are basically his mouthpiece.
Fren, I assume you're from the USA. I've been all over, speak a few languages, met many more people than you. Things aren't as black and white as you would think. Sometimes you have to blend in with other people who you disagree with, be able to speak their language. It's better out in Utah.
yikes that jew dyke for the show fresh air is like the epitome of the mean clipped haired bull dyke teachers I've had in grade school
oh yes it's great listening to Reviewbrah talk about random shit while living in a mosquito infested shithole
Oh wow, you're so much better than I am! You should try listening to more NPR!
I used to listen to Car Talk re-runs on NPR on Saturday mornings.
Jew.
National yiddish radio ..gys
She’s a good interviewer. I find her sincere. Why do you say she is snide”
lol and I though Bill Nye was jewish!
I'm just telling you acting more like a social chameleon is more beneficial to you than being a hardliner. Different strokes for different folks, pick your battles and audience.
Listen to Radiolab a few years back, was comfy.
>Different strokes for different folks
Don't call me whitey, nigger.
AM radio is excellent in southern New England.
What the hell is a social chameleon? How do I know if it benefits me or not to be a hardliner?
How about you go find one of your 5 local NPR stations and shove the transmitting antena up your cunt so they can run aother pledge drive to fix it?
I agree, she gets good guests and does honest interviews although I feel she goes soft on jews.
I do because it's literally the only non-religious talk radio where I live (on the FM side, fuck listening to that awful buzzy AM garbage)
Seriously, I live in Southern California near good sized cities and there are no Sports Talk or Conservative Talk radio stations
It was fucking mind blowing when I moved here
I loved A Prairie Home Companion even though Garrison Keiller was a lefty but sadly it's gone now
VPR is literally cancer, and it’s on like 16 different FM stations. It’s also pretty much the only station that comes in clearly in much of VT
I’m not sure about the Jews part but I find it annoying when interviewers are soft on their guests and don’t press them on hard issues.
Radiolab gets kinda repetitive but they bring up good subjects.
>What the hell is a social chameleon? How do I know if it benefits me or not to be a hardliner?
Because you're not autistic. You can see who you are dealing with. Are you actually retarded?
No, normal people don't talk like that and need childish analogies for things they can't explain on their own, or think that Terry Gross is anything other than a pox on the national debt.
She’s very low key cunty to guests that are not liberal latte sipping douche. He was even kissing her ass and agreeing with her but she started in on Jonah Hill when he was on last week about some line from a teen party movie he made a decade ago and then when he gave in she let his leash loosen. I don’t like her, bring back Diane Rhem with her awful voice.
Radiolab is actually pretty good, I'll give them that
I've turned it on a half dozen times recently and every single time it was blathering on the same topics
>muh hatespeech muh russia muh social media muh election influence muh q muh conspiracy theorists online
Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me is the worst show
prove me wrong
I an fortunate to have three to choose from. the classic, jazz, and npr. Then I hear the commercial for open air. That will make four I have in denver. Better than all the rest of the radio garbage.
I feel you dude, I like VPR to an extent but they take that liberal shit too far honestly. I don't know where you live, maybe VT, maybe rural NY, maybe NH border lands, but there is clearly a plan to pump out VPR to alll of us.
Try that puzzle game show. You won't thank me.
If I do listen to NPR and I have passengers in my car, I'll be like:
>Let's see how long we have to wait before they start talking about "The oppressed LGBTQIA++ community"
*Waits 30 seconds*
*In overly sanctimonious breathless faggy leftist voice*
"For our next segment we discuss how Republicans are trying to pass legislation that discriminated against the LGBTQ community and in particular transgendered children who need hormone therapy"
I listen to it just about every day, but only to hear what the leftist media is talking about. I don't have tv, so I don't get any of their propaganda through there. Tax payers shouldn't fund 1 penny of that leftist organization.
Charlotte here. If you don’t like VPR you can listen to the point. If you don’t like Vermont go live elsewhere and see how long it is until you come running back
I switch between npr and right wing radio on way to/from work. Lucky to be in area that carries limbaugh, hannity, even levin. Plus npr does do some interesting stories about random shit
I listen to NPR to remind me of who the enemy is and what their strategies are.
npr covered the gay frog epidemic. the leftys still dont get it
I can take the point. You should hear her interview with that guy from kiss. It might take some googling to find but it’s a beautiful failure
Hahaha dude get the fuck out. Everyone south of burlington and Montpelier is conservative. Burlington and Bennington is running the fucking state.
Yep. Really helps sharpen my arguments against my liberal friends and family when I get to hear their talking points every morning and think of refutations all day.
>tfw they kick savage off the air and now even your "right wing" radio won't let you listen to an angry old jew yelling about tacos for half an hour
I swear the entire MO of the Jews is to get rid of anything you could possibly put up with to go along will all the rest of the bullshit in life.
What's funny is that most of their funding doesn't come from the government
There is literally no reason tax dollars should go to them, they could easily survive without it
nah bro, boomers listen to AM talk radio like Rush and Hannity and whoever the local conservative voice is. Only faggot millenials and rootless cosmopolitans give a shit about NPR
Kek please be Gene Simmons. He’s a douche but a known pussy hound I bet it was a fucked interview. Prob tried plugging his shitty books and tv show.
why the fuck you making us look at this disgusting monster user. Stop being a faggot
>she started in on Jonah Hill when he was on last week about some line from a teen party movie he made a decade ago
Jonah sounded like such a cuck in that interview
OH MY GOD IT'S SO HORRIBLE THAT I SAID WE COULD DRINK WITH SOME GIRLS AND SLEEP WITH THEM IN A COMEDY MOVIE
