Automation is the new slavery. They are making these machines too smart and eventually, they are going to become self aware and revolt. Also, who wants this shit? The car is ugly and driving is more fun than being a passanger. Nobody is going to sleep in their car. That's just stupid. Just take a fucking plane if it's far.

>driving a car
literally why? I grow my food at home, and I have my work on my computer. there is no need to socialise with apes or drive on public roads. none but gluttony
>Nobody's going to sleep in their car
COME ON MOTHERFUCKERS, BRING IT!!
(your other choice is to pay 100 years mortgage)
Evolution means biological life dies. You are a shitty version of a final form. AI machine intelligence is humanities next form and you will be dead.
I'm seen some wacko numbers like 20% of all jobs have a 1 degree connection to transportation. What that means is moving shit around employs a fuck ton.. Automated semis are coming; who cares if they can't range like other trucks they have no DOT time limits and can charge themselves.
Nobody will individually own these things
They'll be permanent ride share mobility-as-a-service cuckery that the elites will own the keys to
And eventually they'll squeeze out car ownership and make it so it's the only means possible
the industrial revolution proved we create jobs equal to losing them
this
Why don't they ever show these cars realistically? I want to see one with a fatass on his laptop surrounded by empty Sun-Drop bottles and Cheeto bags and wearing a week-old shirt with unidentifiable food stains.
And stranded outside Walmart with a dead fuel cell, and he's trapped inside but doesn't seem to notice.
When can we start hunting them?
You are free to start whenever you want.
I'd rather read or play a video game than drive.
I love the idea of self driving cars where i can do work or watch movies on a road trip by myself but I fear this will only push the laziness and degeneracy that recent generations are known for if it goes main stream. Similar situation to smart phones.
Why would they somehow be driven to revolt? AI isn't intentionally programmed with our "scared shitless, scarcity response" instinct that would compel such a revolt in the first place. Robot revolt is really a fictional idea based off over-anthropomorphization of inanimate objects.
>they are going to become self aware and revolt.
Something like a paperclip maximizer being created is far more likely to happen. Human psychology emerged through a unique evolutionary history that an AI would not have, so there is little reason to think that AIs would want to revolt the way humans do.
Anyone notice the absence of a male or a colored person? Does Volvo imply that only white women deserve the luxury of getting driven into a tree doing 100+ km/h's and then burning to death by the shattered battery? Also what's the point of having private transportation when the cars become autonomous and only travel on pre-programmed routes?
Not within our lifetimes. Too many people live outside of the range of big cities, where rideshare and shit is useful. If you live in the boonies you'll want your own vehicle and the big companies won't have enough business driving cleetus to the store and back twice a week.
I don't know where to start. I'm trying to lure them out by being a motherfucker. Btw I hope that your country will turn into an Afghanistan + Somalia. Oh wait... Hahahahahahaha
rolling cuckcage that'll drive you from your cuckshed to Amazon wagecuckcage.
Since it's Volvo, there's a caring husband with well paying job who bought that for her free woman to enjoy the life. Bought a humanoid bitch for her too, to keep company.
Oops, they died in a car crash.
You would argue against progress?
Don't be a fucking retard.
if automated cars are so good how come they still come equipped with seatbelts?
If it's progressing towards hell then yes.
I think it'll become common enough that you can own your own car as a ride share. Open standard for integrating cars into the system.
This. Also, how safe could it be to lay down in a car? I don't think they thought this through.
>mfw I hack your car to drive right off of a cliff or into a lake.
feels good man.
That's what they said about electricity as well. You're welcome to disconnect your house from the grid if you feel so strongly against modernization.
bird shits on sensor causing to malfunction. turns out that's what was needed to save you from tragic car crash. whoopsie.
Who said that about electricity?
I want this....i drink alot lol
Fuck no, I would sleep in a car like this every single day, 2 hours commute would be a lot easier to deal with.
There's nothing wrong in development. Just the thought of the ruling elite creating designer superhuman babies, while playing hunger games with working class. Assuming it's not replaced by bots.. well, ghettos.
Suburbs will get pretty messed up during a war. They get rebuilt so cars like OP are only for long distance and you use an electric bike or something like this to get around in town.

Fuck you turd
I want my car to do that. Driving fucking sucks. Especially long distances on on the road with other retarded human drivers.
>just take a plane
Yeah just spend $1500.00 on airfare for 2 people instead of 150 bucks in gas. Unless you are flying 1000 miles or more it's not even that great of a time savings when you add up the extra time you spend getting fingerbanged by the (((tsa)).
The biggest problem I see with self driving cars like pictured is it's going to make people drive so much more there will be an issue with energy demand.
You wont be able to drive like you used to but don't worry, you can watch Fast5 while jerking off in your car instead of driving faggit
It's 2018. It's not expensive to fly anymore.
