Gonna continue from the last thread
>Are police always fishing or do they ever have good intentions
Not always. casual conversation is a good way to defuse tense situations. And sometimes I'd rather just make small talk than go about my work in silence.
I never have, never been offered a bribe large enough to be remotely worth taking
I do. We don't get ahead, but we push things back to an equilibrium that as much better than if we weren't present at all. Like I said before, we know what the problems are, and address them best our time, resources, and political backing will allow us
None that I know off. Anything computer related will involve a degree.
Don't pull over. I know it might look bad, but the nogs are more likely to flip out or get aggressive when they see you roll up, can make a bad situation worse. For the most part, we deal with them every day and know how to handle the situation. Something that might make you make a rash decision is something we've seen hundreds of times over
Terrible
Most female officers tend to overcompensate more with the stereotypical "bad attitude" behavior, just from the fact that they all feel like they get taken less seriously from the get go. I've trained my fair share of female officers when I was with the city police force, and it was always a challenge to get them to focus on de-escalation rather than confrontation. In our line of work people are always going to get aggressive with you, you have to accept that as a fact of life. Female cops have the bad habit of taking it personally far more often, if that makes sense
Little things. You wouldn't believe the shit people will carry in cars, or have out in the open in a house or apartment
where/what is it?
No, they would have to actually come on your property, and you'd have to be able to make a case they meant to do you harm
