idk i just voted from my living room and dropped the ballot in the mail
I just plopped my mail in ballot in the box by this library in South Park
I voted against that slimy fucker Dino Rossi but I always voted no against that energy tax, fuck that shit gasoline is already steep enough here in WA
Go out to your mailbox and vote, user. Then sit back and relax while the rest of the world waits in 14 hour lines in sideways snow uphill both ways.
It is so easy and yet so few vote. Crazy shit.
My wigger classmate goes to great length posting online how he won't vote since the "system is rigged" and his "vote never matters" yet he will bitch and bitch online about whomever does win office, kek
“Voting” is a little known sex practice that is only now gaining attention. Normally, this is done with five or six partners, but you can try it by yourself if you want. First you’ll need some supplies:
>a jar of nutella
>a big tube of lube
>some bread (best if it’s in big slices, but you could do it with a baguette if you really wanted to)
>several butt plugs in ascending size (some just use an inflatable one)
>one plastic scraper/spatula
First you lube up the first butt plug. Jam this in your ass as quickly as possible. This will hurt; it’s supposed to. Do five jumping jacks. Pull out the butt plug, as quickly as possible, now dig into the nutella jar with at least three fingers and stick those fingers in your ass. Repeat this entire process until you’re up to the largest butt plug. This last one remove slowly while clenching your sphincter. The goal is to keep all the nutella and lube in your rectum. By this point you should be able to flex your sphicter pretty wide. Now stick that scraper/spatula up there and twist. You want to get as much nutella/lube on it as possible. How much you got will determine the number of slices of bread you need. When starting out you want to spread the goo on the bread as thin as possible. Then eat it. When you get better at it you’ll want to spread it thicker. Now you can vote with confidence.
Is that how they vote in Prague?
1) I don’t live in Prague
2) I’m US expat dude
3) This is exactly why I use memeflags
Everybody voted no on the carbon tax, right?
A carbon tax is unnecessary. You could always just send your money directly to Al Gore.
>posting online how he won't vote
Screen cap his post, and regurgitate it to him when he bitches, and tell him he has no right to complain if he didn't exercise his rights.
>tfw 1639 is probably going to pass
Correct WAnon, fuck that shit, its already bad enough paying close to $4/ gallon of gas. I gotta run premium otherwise the kaiser whip will shoah its motor
Somehow I don’t think there’s going to be a lot of enforcement in places like...say...Shelton.
Any skagit county fags vote against the charter. County democrats want to increase the size of the government by increasing positions that would replace the three commissioners that we currently have to 21 freeholders.
bump
You need a couple red dots on the kitsap peninsula dude. Places like Shelton, Aberdeen, Forks, Sequim, and maybe Pt. Angeles. Oregon looks about right though.
Go back, beaner
Totally.
I voted on Nov 1st straight Red ticket. It matters in the local races, but for anything else, meh. Propositions are scary because of Seattle. Fuck Seattle, I hope Rainier wipers them all out.
Wish I could agree with that but even in construction a lot of people see blue, at least from Port Townsend to Port Angeles
none of it will be enforced, or complied with
i still voted against it
Inaccurate. Most Oregonians outside the Portlan, Salem, and Eugene areas have a strong dislike for minorities.
Port Townsend of course. That’s always been a place for the “let’s stay at a B&B and go antiquing” crowd. I’m a little surprised to hear that about Port Angeles, but I haven’t been there in a long time. I’m pretty sure the other ones would be red though. There’s an awful lot of firearms folks in those places. That and....fuck...what’s the place just before Gorst that has Crazy Erics?
Once you get off the I-5 corridor, you’re pretty much in a cold, wet, green Texas.
Lol I am just driving though. Also:
>not a beaner
I voted no on all that shit and voted no to the unconstitutional gun laws.
Boerners
>kitsap pennisula
You realise there are two right and both of them are cuxked i just hope my girl Jodi Wilke can get a respectable number, sometimes you have to vote just to try and convice dems to spend money in your county to help the rest of the country
Fuck me running. I haven’t been there in longer than I thought.
Two Kitsap Peninsulas? Yes that news to me. Especially since that’s where I went to high school.
What did everyone think of 940?
Two Peninsula! You know the Olympic one you kitsap-nigger.
Goddammit. I totally forgot about Hood Canal. Yup, you’re right.
I voted like two weeks ago.
Also I hope all WAfags here voted no on the gun control initiative. Unless you like the idea of the state being able to get a hold of your medical records for background checks and forcing you to keep your guns in a safe.
What we really need is to split the state.
Well port townsend is a large part of the population of the county and as much as i hate to admit it we leech taxes of them to pay for our shitty roads, thank god for tourists who somehow end up here, fools.
They mean go vote against whiteness.
Im in ballard, vote pro white. Fuck these indians and chinks and nighers. Fuck the commies.
remove politician
This is exactly right.
t. OREGONIAN
You gotta do what you gotta do. Take it anyway to offset the utter fuckery that goes on in King County and in Olympia.
I’m still flummoxed by the fact that when I lived in the tri-county area — a long fucking time ago — the CCW class I took mentioned that in the tri-county area around 100,000 had been issued. You’d never guess if you spent all your time in the Hawthorne District. Much less if you live in Eugene. The only exception I can think of to the I-5 corridor thing is probably Bend, but I might be wrong about that.
I'm thinking of moving out of Seattle, it's full of extreme left fags who are scared of getting shot at their private school
>storage requirements
is under my pillow adequate storage for my sleeping funs?
dont come to battle ground, we are turning into vancouver. im going to have to move even further out into the boonies
Tell him he's right, the real game is influencing others to vote. Why stop at just one vote?
Seriously? I’ll assume that means Longview is also fucked. Hmm...Pe Ell maybe?
Lifelong Hawthorne District dweller here. Voted straight red and have had my CCW for 7+ years.
I should hope so. You’re deep in enemy territory. At least The Baghdad is nice.
why do republicans keep letting him run, he's a fucking embarrassment on top of being a cuckservative to the bone. If you're going to run fuckers in a doomed election at least run someone who can deliver banter. Total waste of money, I feel sorry to the idiots who donate to him.
this is giving the democrats too much credit, they control a far narrower swathe of territory. Literally the coast of the puget sound, the I5 corridor down to Olympia and some pockets of deviancy in the islands and peninsula. Rest of the state is rural and red.
KNUTE
Is Washington a comfy state? Thinking of moving to Everett. I'm from Florida. Figured it's liberal and I'm pretty conservative, but there's good nature around yeah?
No, the nature is not worth the liberals.
t. lifelong Washingtonian
>Ballard
Hello fellow Seattle user! Do you hate those lime bikes and homeless people too?
How hard is it to ignore them and the city areas?
Everett is full of tweekers, Buy some land near North Bend or Renton.
Pretty hard when the continually shove their liberal ideologies down your throat in the way of "initiatives." Don't hope to innovate, start a business or buy soda, FFS.
Everett is the Cleveland of Washington.
Also everyone stop fucking moving here we're full.
Lived here my whole life as well and they are invading the east like parasites along with Mexicans. Most major cities are liberal shit holes you are better off with the rural Desert or Forest town than anything Seattle, Spokane, or Tacoma could ever give you. Sea side towns are kinda fucky but some are based.
I thought I read somewhere money is getting pumped into it. I figured it'd be the cheapest area to rent that's still in a commutable distance to Seattle while also being up and coming. Shit what's a better place?
What is up with the semi auto ban and the weird red flag type legislation attached to it? Fucking progressives!¡¡!!¡!!!!!!!
Basically any other state. Srsly user, listen to the people who live here.
FUCK I like evergreen mountains. Is Oregon better then? I figured that'd be more of a shit hole than Washington
caveat reader: since it’s been a while, I might be off on the driving times, so double check them.
Why Everett? By that I mean the Puget Sound area is sort of like LA: it’s hard to tell where one “city” starts and the last one ends. That said, the only thing that comes to mind about Everett is the ferry to Kingston. Is it for work or something? Aside from that you’d be a couple hours from Index and Leavenworth (if you’re into rock climbing), a few from Stevens Pass if you’re into skiing, probably four or five from Mt. Rainier (but you’ll be able to see it all the time so it might look closer), and four or five from the “beaches” on the Pacific coast. I said “beach” because these ain’t the white sandy warm Floridian things. They’re pretty in their own way, but if you want to spend much time in the water you’ll want a wet suit most days of the year. Of course, being right on the Sound there will be “beaches” of another kind. These consist mostly of large rocks. Sometimes a tiny strip of rocky “sand”. Again, pretty in their own way, but not really what comes to mind as a beach per se. Ah, almost forgot — I’ve got a blinspot for the Olympic Peninsula today — you’d be a few hours from Olympic National Park. It’s got cool things like Hurricane Ridge and the only temperate rainforest.
Fucking... medical records too? Goddamn. I have a diagnosis for autism. If they try and use this to deny me a gun, I'm suing the state.
Literal Ogre
Go to Northern California.
WA has two mountain ranges: the Cascades and the Olympics. Oregon pretty much just has the Cascades. Oregon has smaller mountains, but unless you’re into alpine shit, they’re big enough. The thing you might want to consider, especially coming from FL, is the tax situation: WA has a sales tax but no income tax and OR has an income tax but no sales tax.
I just figured it'd be far away enough from Seattle to get away from the annoyingness of living in big cities but still in range that working there for career opportunities is an option. Isn't there a train from Everett to Seattle that's like an hour ride? It also looks close to Mt baker National forest which I really enjoyed when I visited. I'd mostly be wanting to move for nature stuff. What's the best city with career options close but nature within reasonable drives?
I voted no, as did both of my parents. My town is covered in vote no signs.
We all voted no for this as well, but it's not like they're going to be able to enforce that shit either way.
Dems wished they controlled that much actual land. The peninsula is rural and red, as is most of the land away from the I-5 corridor. Seattle sprawls like zerg creep but most people outside of the big cities sensibly hate those fags.
shit scared me man, I recognize that exact store
>reasonable drives
Those don't exist in western washington.
The culture here is different from the south. People are generally introverted. You're not going to make friends easy. Most people's ancestors who came this far west were either criminals or missionaries. Everyone and their mom has a bachelors degree, so if you're only rocking a high school diploma you'd better already have experience in a trade. You should at least visit and scope it out first.
I don’t think you can avoid the big city problems anywhere in the Puget Sound area unless you get way into the suburbs or one of the affluent “compounds”. The trains were after my time, so I couldn’t tell ya. The driving is fucking horrific though. However, if you’ve got a decent amount of money there are some nice bedroom communities like Bainbridge Island. This one was fuck off expensive thirty years ago, I don’t reckon the situation has improved, but it’s beautiful, rather small, and you can take an hour long ferry right into downtown Seattle. If you’re not too particular and don’t mind a longer commute you an do the same thing in other parts of Kitsap county. The three ferries would drop you in either Everett or downtown. There’re are some beautiful places with an upscale rural feel in central Kitsap (e.g. Seabeck), but you’d probably be looking at a two-hour each way commute if you’re working in Seattle. As far as nature goes, WA is lousy with awesome national parks, OR a little less so. If you can tolerate the commute I just mentioned, you’d probably like somewhere near Seabeck. You’d be close to the Olympics but can see the Cascades (well, if you’re on a hill), it basically looks like Endor and you could easily fuck off to Olympic National park on the weekends. Now, that’s not to say you’d have to work in Seattle. Central Kitsap, i.e.: Bremerton and Silverdale have a shitload of US Navy presence and all the rest of the shit that goes along with that. However, it’s basically strip mall hell. If that doesn’t bug you, it’d be nicer than the commute. But, again, if two...maybe two and a half...hours each way doesn’t bother you, you can get into downtown Seattle. Of course, keep in mind, sometimes you’ll miss the ferry.
Why do they keep trying to ram this shit through, IT DOESN'T HELP!
>But the east side needs us, it will die without Seattle.
Why does the US have such a low turnout?
In your 2016 election, turnout was 55.7% (which was actually up from the last one)
In our 2017 general election (closest equivalent we have to a presidential election), turnout was 68.8%
Why is America so politically apathetic? Especially when, on the face of it, Americans of both political aisles are far more passionate and vocal about their politics than Brits.
Politics user politics they dont reall6 xare if it passes or not they just want to ahow they are for the enviroment even if the doomsday studies even show washington benifits in all scenarios
I voted from California (military). The postman I handed my ballot to did a spit take when he saw it, apparently they fly the ballot back to Washington overnight which is super expensive if you vote from out of state.
I voted straight Republican/Male/Anime write ins for everything else.
I live in Vancouver/Portland please end my life
>Dino
I actually know dino rossi personally, I served on the board of directors of special Olympics Washington with him
How often do you pray for that city to disappear?
Ah, Vancouver. Where you have to drive at least 20 minutes to get anywhere and when you get there you’re still nowhere.
Often... Me and my boyfriend tried to escape Portland only to discover Vancouver was Portland-lite. Not sure what we expected moving across the river besides taxes haha
Too real, bro
I voted for it. The oil pipeline that gets taxed is coming from Canada, and it'll make it that much harder for them to sell their shitty oil. I want Canada to suffer as much as possible so I voted for the tax, even though it'll just give the state more money to waste on the homeless. Fuck Canada.
What they mean is that people literally don't spend money in your State because they're afraid if they defend themselves from a homeless psycho they'll do life in prison.
Go out and vote for anyone except a Socialist.
This is what you want us to think.
Truth is, most of that middle is MEXICANS. But yea, they're ok.
I live in Kingston not to far from Everett very red area but Tacoma/gig harbor calls all the shots in my district 6th lot of millitary in this area
Thanks for the tips. Is the driving really that bad? I plotted some of the driving times around on Google maps and it didn't seem too awful, at least compared to when I lived in LA.
50 minute commute from Everett to Seattle seems very reasonable. I don't think I could handle a two hour commute so I think I'd avoid west of Seattle on those islands and stuff like you're mentioning.
Is working in someplace like Redmond and living east of that into the boonies a bit a reasonable thing? Fuck me I hate bad traffic. I moved from LA to FL to get rid of that shit but it seems Western WA is pretty bad with that. Well shit. Is there a place you can live and have reasonable careers in distance but still be around the mountains without COMPLETELY shit traffic? I can handle some, since I lived in LA, but I hate that shit like the plague.
I also do have a bachelor's degree, it's just fairly useless (a liberal arts one). Hoping to get a marketing/communications type job
Strong NO on the gun law. Only reason I voted today.
FUCK OFF CALIFORNIA AND NEW YORK
FTFY
Three minutes from my house. I still have nowhere within a 45 minute drive to shoot though.
many states are already assumed to be one side or another in many elections including the presidential election. For example, I live in NY and so I know my vote in the general election won't matter because NY will always blue. But I just voted today for more contested local seats. Also people are lazy and live far from polling places because it's a big country and there's traffic.
You’re welcome. The driving really is that bad. Actually, it’s worse. Especially compared to LA. LA people may drive like assholes, but they know how to drive. WA folks, despite haveing a lot of CA people, drive like assholes but don’t know how to drive. It’s bad enough that downtown Seattle has reversible lanes and it still sucks balls. The problem is the geography. It’s all hills, lakes, and valleys — valleys with important shit like Boeing Field in them. So I-5 and I-405 do all these weird fucking weird convolutions while I-90 fucks shit up by crossing them. At least in LA it’s basically flat — yeah yeah, not the Grapevine — and if you’re clever you can work out a good surface street routine. Not so in Seattle. Or anywhere else from the Tacoma Narrows bridge to Everett. Shudder...and forget about that interchange in Tacoma to go to Olympia. The place has too much weird topography shoved into too small a space. Though I’m a software wonk, I don’t think liberal arts degrees are useless. If you can swing a marketing/communications gig, Seattle would probably be a good place to do it. Good luck!
There's spicks in eastern Washington.
There’s no ‘k’ in ‘spic’ dude: ‘hiSPanIC’. Get it?
So it's confirmed nothing has changed in this state right?
