This, I go to Temple and it sucks. Center City is alright before 8 PM but try riding the subways when they run late on the weekends and you'll find an entire city of underground niggers who live in the subway system. North Philly is a war zone though. I know 3 people who have been mugged or assaulted not half a mile from campus.

Pine Grove Furnace (no where near Pine Grove). Follow the creek, and bring spare shoes and socks. It is well worth it to see the waterfall. Go higher and there is a great lookout on the top. Low skill level type, but great to take the ladies out on.
