Did any of you libertarians actually vote libertarian this year?
Did any of you libertarians actually vote libertarian this year?
I'm not libertarian, but I voted both libertarian or Green party on all the positions in which there was a Democrat candidate but no Republican candidate
I voted Libertarian in every race that had a candidate, reepub in the rest.
Same here. Libertarians are close enough to Republicans, when Demorat is running unopposed.
I voted mainly Republican this year as to not waste my vote. Only a couple were listed ballot-wise and had no chance in winning.
LARRY SHARPE
No I voted straight red. Too much at stake here.
based
I voted straight third party. Get fucked FAGGOT!
Voted libertarian in 2016 but voted republican down the ballot this year. I told myself I would never vote just on party lines but the midterms were so competitive this year we need as much red as we can get
Same. We will never crack single digits anyway.
No but only one was on my ballot.
I voted Red because I'm in a toss up district
None in my district unfortunately
Nah, I decided to put my priorities aside for the year
Same.
Based and redpilled.
Legalize crystal fucking weed.
top 2 system in my state pretty much killed it
i voted for them in the primaries though
This.
Leftists and democrats who pander to leftists for votes will kill classical liberalism. Republicans at least give a quarter of a shit about the constitution and basic human rights.
Ditto
No, I voted straight R
A few where there was no risk of the Republican losing. The rest were R because the left has pissed me off so badly the last two years I had to veer from my idealism to help send message.
I voted just to show up on the voter rolls as a young voter, but only voted for any Libertarian candidates. I probably won't vote for a major party as long as we have a two party system, or unless it's something obvious like the dems are for repealing the patriot act.
LP are just open borders cucks who want cheap goods and cheap labor. I'm more of a Ron Paul libertarian who understands that freedom is best when your country is still slightly socially conservative and nationalist. Libertarian Party is suicidal and irrelevant.
>Did any of you libertarians actually vote libertarian this year?
No, straight red this year, I'll vote libertarian when it isn't so close.
Voted Libertarian here in MD as I voted for the issues and both blue and red here suck
Voted L because the R candidate was a nigger
Yes.
I wrote in Tarl Warwick for Vermont governor because literally having ChrisChan as governor is the funniest thing that will ever happen in my lifetime.
Yep. In Virginia, two Libertarians were on the ballot.
Libertarian local GOP national, as always
Voted L for all local/state government. Voted R for federal positions.
Had about 3 libertarians that I voted for, republican everything else cept 1 democrat cus of abortion
I don't identify as a Libertarian. I voted for some Libertarians, even in the most important race, which effectively took a vote away from the Republican (who is an invader-supporting neocon).
I voted straight red except for one Libertarian guy here in Idaho who seemed pretty good.
>literally no Libertarians on the ballot
>the LP is still a giant fuckhole mess
yeah, no
Only third party on my ballot was a lone Green and he got mine. Any Libertarian gets my vote, no matter how wacky.
Tmw Burgers fucked up in 2008 and 2012 with based Ron Paul, and their libertarians are in the shitter. Meanwhile we're having our Bernier moment
>Republicans at least give a quarter of a shit about the constitution and basic human rights.
Yep. Didn't vote for lying ted
ditto
>all these libertarians talking about the greater good.
Boys... I... I think I'm starting to into fascism.
>Best state ever
What’s up, other Idaho bro? You didn’t vote for the native chick whose whole campaign crew bailed on her? Shucks.
I voted lolberg on the small local shit
A lot of libertarian ecelebs went either pro-Trump or full fascist or neomonarchist. The issue is that libertarianism assumes everyone acts in their own rational self-interest. Yet Europe and America are committing suicide by flooding their countries with immigrants and refugees... to feel good about themselves?
Lol, do people even still bother with Lolbergtarianism?
Split ballot, one of my votes was libertarian, yes.
I voted mostly Libertarian and Green Party
Nope. Straight Republican this year. Too important.
t. Michigan.
I always vote straight Libertarian. I fucking hate the Republican Party. Bunch of bootlicking commie cucks.
I tried, but almost none on the Californian ballot.
Mostly voted NO on as many taxes as I could have.
I SHOULD have voted republican.
Fuck
Not going to lie, every Libertarian i know is ass backwards, and they live in a fantasy world. They know 0% about foreign policy, this was made clear last election with Garry whats Aleppo Johnson
nah dude too stoned lamo
Paulette "AR-15's have no place in Idaho" Jordan?
Only because there weren't any greens
>meme political party
t. small "L" libertarian with no party affiliation who voted straight R this time.
What color is libertarian?
Voted Libertarian, and Green or those who were running.
Yep sure did, tired of voting against things and not for things.
Who's down for a yellow wave in 2 years?
I wish I was in NY I'd have been happy to vote for him.
Yes, straight R
The color is gold.
Get it right.
nope, im libertarian but i voted GOP
suck my cock
nah, dems are too batshit crazy... can't risk it. Real libertarians know there's a price to pay for everything. Letting in dems get in power is the last thing we would want so every once in a while there is a price to pay for freedom and liberty.
gatekeeping in a libertarian thread? how appropriate
I swung by the polls to bullet vote for Jake Porter.
I'm a Republican, I voted for Gary Johnson for US Senate because I wanted Libertarians to remain a major party in NM.
fuck yeah, austin here. I voted for the cuck libertarian against ted 'zodiac' cruz. get fucked Jow Forums
I voted for Jake Porter, but I know in my heart Kim Reynolds I gonna take Iowa Governor again.
Voting for the libertarian party means you're a dudeweed commie.
t. libertarian
Voted for Cruz for senate libertarian for other offices.
Registered libertarian, voted straight republican since 2016.
Neal dikeman is he a Jew?
Stats suggest Hubbel from what I can see. They're both pretty shit. Hope the state legislature stays red so he doesn't actually get to repeal the tax cuts.
,
Didn't like a couple of Rep-Dem matchups, so I voted for the Lib.
No Greens tho.
If you vote for the Libs, you are literally retarded.
FPTP voting means we have a Two Party System.
Stop being stupid.
In Iowa the LIbertarian candidate mostly ran on a platform of acknowledging that privatizing the state medical system had created an inefficient oligarchy that needs to be dealt with. I don't remember hearing him ever bring up weed.
No Libertarians in Alabama, voted straight Republican
>commie
>libertarian
lel, this timeline is so fucking great
Speaking of which, any Maineians in this thread? I want to know how ranked choice voting felt.
I voted libertarian over mitt Romney.
BRAINLET
i would have if i could have but here in california the republicans and democrats pushed through a bill that now only the top 2 candidates appear on the ballot, so i got to chose between at best rep/dem but about a third of the contests were dem/dem.
how could you
leave it to CA to be anti competitive
Well yeah. I just don't like Dems. I'm brainwashed, so what?
How is that determined, btw? Most votes in the primary?
Why the hell would you waste your vote? May as well stay home and masturbate.
I voted straight ticket libertarian, and republican where there were no libertarians running.
No vote actually matters. None of these elections have ever been determined by one vote.
it's pretty much bullshit to keep the people in power in power.
yeah
OP needs to stop being an autistic faggot and get weaponized.
All the libertarians in my state run as Republicans. Ron Paul ran as a Republican. Lolbertarians cause the Democrats to win elections and then they import more Democrats, so you are effectively causing more Democrats to be elected and undermine libertarian systems from being implemented.
Republicans proved this term that they're equally bad. I don't give a shit anymore who wins.
Libertarians hold the door open for Marxism.
>implying I havent done that 5xs already
Texan here. Voted for two libertarians in the less important positions as it was the few places i could see libertarian views and autism actually working out for us.
Wasnt gonna waste my house or senate votes on that shit though. Too important and too unlikely to matter, while with other/local positons its not entirely impossible for 3rd parties to win.
voted yellow over a tossup
#pisswave
