since the Repubs may lose the house. wtf can the house even do? can they impeach tyrannical cheeto or stop funding for the wall?

Yes to both those things. Trump needs to put on his art of the deal outfit.
This only divides America more.

If they had actually won by a large margin, impeachment would have been somewhat possible. As it is now though, it's a pipe dream.

>house moves to impeach
>repub senate vetoes
>repeat ad infinitum
wow its literally nothing

Next two years are going to be a lot of 4d chess moves on the dems with executive orders and reeesisting.

Plus Trump admin will do what Obama admin did. "we subpoena you" "go fuck yourself, Holder set the precedent"

They can slow Trump down and drag shit out. They can't really do much else on their own, though.

realistically what will happen given that the House flipped is that the democrats will now dissolve all the House Intel Committee investigations into all their illicit bullshit they've been pulling. You'll notice everyone they investigated have been doing their best to absolutely slow walk every bit of requested evidence in, or just simply not comply. Our DOJ should hang every single person involved in that shitshow.

Yes they can do both
The more important (and scary) factor is that the third in line pending impeachment/assassination (which I do not condone, mods) is going to be a Democrat
Don't pretend the climate isn't already at this level
It's also an interesting foothold for the extremely far left a la Cortez and the other Democratic socialist candidates who won
Will be interesting to see how DSA moves
Would be ballsy for them to put forward their own speaker

Realistically nothing other than block legislation without at least a two-thirds majority

They'll take Trump's tax returns

That will be a spicy Trump breakdown to witness

Impeachment =/= removal. Impeachment ins the congressional equivalent of an indictment, and only requires a majority vote to pass. The President is then tried in he senate, and conviction/removal requires 67 votes to convict/remove. THEN we would get daddy Mike as President.

>This only divides America more.
does it? i hoped for at least high social unrest / riots, but in this situation house just can't do anything, other than maybe not pass a budget.
i'm sure 2 years of house screeching at orange man will tire the electorate, but it's just more of the same shit really.

Then they impeach him over nothing and we get grandma pelosi

this is the worst part of all of this. There are dems who should hang for treason and now will not get justice

We need trump in there when he tanks the economy right before 2020 election.

Did you read my post? They don’t control the senate. They won’t be able to get 50 votes to remove trump, much less the required 67.

The House can declare war on you fucking leafs.

Nobody impeaching a president unless he tries to end the world

This... I have no idea what the dems plan on doing with a red supreme court, red senate, red oval office and 2/3rds of the house. good luck guys.

A thing like that happens, it won't matter who is in line for what, the country burns.

Unilaterally release his tax returns. If he kept them private because of large foreign debt its all fucking over. Best case scenario he kept them private because hes having perfectly innocent liquidity problems.

he's obviously keeping them secret because his entire pull for the bumfuck retards is his myth of the self made billionaire

but he's neither self made nor a billionaire

Or his tax returns end up having like, literally three or four billion dollars of debt to 3-4 Russian oligarchs that are best buds with Putin. That would be a presidency ender.

Well as much as I would love it if Trump called forth the militia and ordered us to drive all leftists into the sea, a bit of "gridlock" has always been, regardless of what party the president is in, good for the country.
That's been my experience.

It's not like they've been cooperative in the first place. Nothing is gonna change.
