(((Comedy)))

>opens investigation
>Senate tells them to fuck off
>Nothing happens

what happened to the current investigation? what will the new ones look into differently?

Isn't there already an investigation?
Did it get memory holed?

their use by date was around august 2016, what you got there is a broken but still trying to grind by gear

Jon stewart happened to late night comedy, its been getting more and more political since then

senate opens investigation on house
fuck it if they're gonna investigate each other, then fucking ROLL TIDE

It is a mystery.

>they demand his tax returns
>he shows them and actually the tax returns come out looking very good for Trump, not actually anything bad or money going into extremely dubious places at all
>democrats go insane

Well that's definitely a joke.

*standing ovation*

There isn't shit in his tax returns other than the potential for dubious headlines after the inevitable leaks. Unless they think the IRS is colluding with Trump, there isn't anything actionable within them.

>Spend two more years on frivolous investigations and blocking bipartisan bills until everyone is sick of your bullshit.

Give the Dems just enough rope to hang themselves with.

It's literally just left wing propaganda. Pretty much always been but since Trump, they have been scared.

>Finally get Trumps tax returns
>Fucking nothing

Can't wait for it.

Imagine if Leno said some shit like this.

It stopped being comedy and started being propaganda.

Go back and watch a late night program from 10 years ago. Then go watch one from 20 years ago. The difference when compared to today is staggering.

Did he forget that Meuller exists?
Are they going to pretend that his investigation never happened, so they don't have to admit it was inconclusive?

Who watches Stephen Colbert and enjoys it anyways?

Animals don't feel joy the way humans do, user.

No, user. I'll lay it out for you.

The Mueller investigation is about to come back with a can't win indictment on Roger Stone. It'll make a lot of headlines, but the case will inevitably fizzle. Whatever wrongdoing they think they can squeeze him for, they're going to do it. But, they won't get Trump. That's okay. That's what the press is for. They're going to do whatever they can to tie Roger Stone to Donald Trump so that they can use him as yet another in a long line of indictments to flail him with (Remember Obama's "My administration had no indictments" smarm fest? Expect more of that).

The next step is the tax returns and other financial issues. Remember the NY Times report? The "Tax Scheme" charges? Well, the New York tax authorities are currently investigating the validity of the report. Five will get you ten the House Dems will hammer away at this for the next two years and pretend that they never howled about investigations into e-mail servers and Benghazi. This investigation will also, likely, take forever and amount to nothing. Maybe Trump pays a fine. Doesn't matter, it's another thing to hammer him with.

Then, the Migrant Caravan issue is going to come to a head. Right now, the (D)s want to avoid discussion on it as it seems that their newly crafted wedge issue is starting to get picked apart by Cartel kidnappers. But eventually, all the NGO help will bring these migrants to the U.S. border. One of two things will happen here:

1. The migrants become riotous with American Armed Service personnel

2. The caravan shatters into pieces before reaching the border and crosses at dozens or more points, making the defense look ineffective.

Either outcome serves the narrative of "Orange Man Bad," but the second one offers Trump a built in defense because all he has to say is "This is why we need the wall." The first makes for the best press, especially if a rubber bullet hits a pregnant woman in the face in front of CNN. 1/2

p sure this already happened

Trump destroyed Colbert. His whole life revolves around him

>Investigations

On what?

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 21K)

they did this already

>What happened to late night comedy?

Failed comedians paid to promote Democrats while the blue collar crowd is asleep. Was it ever any different?

Colbert is a well-known pedophile.

That's what they need to investigate to find out

The thing the (D)s really need to bring it home is a recession. Trump's strongest argument to competent governance is the current state of the economy, which sees record unemployment, high stock values, lots of available capital, and more good shit on the horizon in the face of a flagging EU, a post-EU Britain, and a possible upswing in the Brazilian market. So, the (D)s are going to pray for rain, so to speak, and hope this gets undercut in any way it can.

The second strongest pillar to Trump's presidency has been, oddly enough, his foreign policy. Yes, it has alienated many of our European allies, but it has cooled tensions with the two powers we were needlessly feuding with (North Korea and Russia) and has focused on the true upcoming foe (China). So long as Trump can reign in the Chinese, get the DPRK to commit to getting rid of the nukes, and maintain our strong man status with the rest of the world, he's safe in this arena.

That is why the (D)s will try to undermine all of his foreign policy elements. They'll do it any way they can. If it takes a committee, you'll get it. If it takes a non-binding resolution, you'll get it. If it takes bad mouthing and undermining, that's going to be the order of the day. The (D)s were hoping for a locked down Congress, and all they got was the house. They'll make hay while the sun shines.

And then they'll probably fuck it all up by tagging Biden/Booker or Biden/Harris for the 2020 ticket. We'll see. In all, this is going to be Trump's race to lose. He's white hot with his base, the Democrats are going to have a hard time shaking off the bad optics they've generated over the last two years (two more years of the same nonsense isn't going to help matters), and it doesn't take a genius to see the looming specter of exploding racial and religious animus coming from certain sectors of our newly elected representatives.

Strap in. This one's going 12 rounds. Guaranteed.

Jews. It used to be funny, but now the kikes use it to push their agendas.

they want to bankrupt conservatives with legal fees

And in 2024. (((They))) retake control and its buisness as usual for the globalists.

Based Colbert blue wave that wasn't a wave at all.

Which is the most interesting part here. To believe there is a bombshell in the returns is to believe the IRS is protecting Trump for no reason.

>What happened to late night comedy?
It's just mad kikes now, sometimes they used to be funny now it's just sad

It died with George Carlin & Chris Farley

Will go down as the most investigated cleanest man on earth after this?

none of their investigations have worked out very well for them

People broke and in jail, smears in the front page. Acktually...

They can now open investigations to trump? They’ve been investigating trump since day one.

The whole point is to just have a perpetual "investigation" so they can constantly refer to it in the news and congress and use it as their straw man for being faggots, traitors, and obstructionists.

Yeah, but NPCs have short memories. They'll go back to bitching about the emoulments clause if their designated late night entertainment unit mentions it.

remember that Rachael Maddow on MSNBC and trumps tax returns? she oversold it and flopped.

It's always been shit (((television programming))) for the masses, now you're just painfully aware of it.
