I've talked to my neighbor in FL who works as a Judge last night about this "felons being able to vote" ordeal and he said it won't have as a great as an impact as some may believe.
Some ex-felons are on probation for 5-10 years after their sentence. Also any ex-felon who did a violent or sex crime will never be able to vote so it only included non-violent crimes.
Violent crimes in Florida include: homicide, murder, assault, manslaughter, sexual assault, rape, robbery, negligence, endangerment, kidnapping (abduction), extortion, and harassment.
Also another amendment passed allowing Judges to interpret the law as they like instead of by the book which means many felons may get a harder sentence in republican counties!
